Little by little, the jungle gives way to enormous structures and ancient plazas, until reaching the majestic Grand Plaza, the heart of Tikal and one of the most impressive scenes in the entire city.
- Tikal National Park - Upon arriving at the Grand Plaza, travelers will discover the monumental heart of Tikal. Before them rise Temple I, known as the Great Jaguar, and Temple II, or Temple of the Masks, creating one of the most impressive landscapes in the entire ancient city.
Surrounded by the acropolises and other ceremonial structures, the guide will help travelers understand how this space was the setting for important political, religious, and social events of the Mayan civilization.
