- Tikal Visitor Center - Upon arrival at the Tikal Visitor Center, visitors will see the scale model that reveals the magnitude of this ancient Mayan city. After entering the park, a hike through the jungle trails begins, surrounded by nature and wildlife.
During the tour, the local guide shares the history, culture, flora, and fauna of Tikal while exploring its main structures. The journey culminates at the impressive Central Plaza, one of the most emblematic locations in this ancient Mayan city.
- Great Plaza - The tour arrives at the Grand Plaza, the heart of Tikal, where the majesty of the ancient Mayan city unfolds among the jungle. Temple I, known as the Great Jaguar, and Temple II, or the Temple of the Masks, rise above ancient acropolises and stelae.
Here, visitors have time to appreciate the architecture, learn about the history of the Mayan rulers, and enjoy one of the most impressive settings in Tikal—a must-see stop to feel the greatness of this ancient city.
- Tikal Temple III - The imposing Temple III, known as the Temple of the Great Priest, stands as one of Tikal’s great structures. Built around 810 AD, it holds one of the site’s most fascinating details: an ancient carved wooden lintel depicting a ruler dressed in jaguar skin.
Surrounded by the jungle, with its majestic roof comb rising among the trees, this temple allows visitors to imagine the power and grandeur Tikal achieved during the Classic Maya period.
- Temple IV - The tour reaches the imposing Temple IV, the tallest structure in Tikal, approximately 70 meters high. From its summit, visitors enjoy a breathtaking view of the jungle, where the crests of other temples rise above an immense green sea.

- Lost World - The Lost World is one of Tikal’s most fascinating corners, where the jungle and Mayan architecture meet in perfect harmony. Walking among its ancient constructions, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, makes this visit an authentic and memorable experience.
