Memphis and Saqqara - At 8:00 AM, after breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby to take you to Memphis, where your tour begins with a visit to the oldest capital in history. You will have a one-hour guided tour of the most significant statues in the open-air museum of Memphis, founded by King Menes and the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was a center of rule and culture for over 3,000 years as Egypt’s first capital. Here, you can see the Statue of Ramses II. Then, you will visit the Saqqara Necropolis.
Your guide will show you the key areas of the Saqqara necropolis, including the Step Pyramid complex, the main entrance, and the Pyramid of King Teti. Afterward, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Pyramids of Giza - After lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor Egyptian cuisine, you will stop at the Papyrus Institute for 30 minutes to learn about the first paper in history. Then, proceed to the highlight of the tour, the Pyramids of Giza.
You will have a three-hour guided tour of the Pyramids area with three stops: one at the Great Pyramid, the only remaining wonder of the ancient world; the second for a panoramic view photo of the three Pyramids of Giza; and the third in the valley where the temple and Sphinx are located. Then, visit the Oils Salon before returning to your hotel.
Alexandria Day Tour and Travel to Aswan
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - At 7:00 AM, check out and head to Alexandria, then return to Giza train station to board your sleeper train to Aswan.
Visit the Catacombs, showcasing a blend of Greek, Roman, and ancient Egyptian art. The site consists of three floors, and you will explore the main tomb, which retains carvings and statues from Roman, Greek, and Egyptian art.
Qaitbay - After the 11th-century earthquake, the Lighthouse of Alexandria was destroyed, and Sultan Qaitbay built the Alexandrian Fortress to protect northern Egypt. During your tour of the Qaitbay Citadel, your guide will share insights about the military monuments and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Giza Train Station to catch your train to Aswan. The train departs at 8:15 PM and arrives in Aswan at 10:00 AM.
Aswan Visit and Boarding
Philae Temple - Upon arrival at the Aswan train station, meet your local tour representative to begin your tour. Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, then check in and stay overnight in Aswan. You have the option to visit Abu Simbel Temple early in the morning before disembarking (Abu Simbel is an optional tour). Enjoy lunch on board, as well as afternoon tea, dinner, and an evening disco party.

Sailing to Kom Ombo Temple
Temple of Kom Ombo - Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek and the falcon-god Haroeris. Situated on a bend in the Nile, it is said that sacred crocodiles once basked in the sun on the banks. Sail to Edfu, home to the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus. After lunch, visit the temple and ancient settlement, known in Roman times as Apollinòpolis. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay on board.
Visiting Luxor
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast on board, cross the Nile to the West Bank to explore the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Luxor is often referred to as the world’s greatest open-air museum, with an unparalleled number of preserved monuments. Focus on the West Bank, where you will explore the ruins at the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, primarily used for Pharaohs’ burials. Admire the massive stone statues of the Colossi of Memnon and the mortuary temples of the Temple of Hatshepsut. Then, return to your boat. Enjoy dinner and a final overnight stay on board.
