A representative from Egypt Lifetime Tours will greet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, accompanying you to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, the representative will help you check in and review your holiday itinerary to confirm pick-up times for each tour. If your flight arrives early, you might enjoy a first glimpse of the pyramids with a spectacular sound and light show, or perhaps venture into downtown Cairo for an optional Nile dinner cruise and show.

Pyramids of Giza - This morning, after breakfast, your private guide will pick you up for a full-day tour of the Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Coptic Cairo. Begin your day by visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world-renowned pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos, and the Sphinx; these magnificent structures have stood for 4500 years. Temple of Karnak - Our expert representative will meet and assist you at Luxor railway station, transferring you by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Enjoy lunch on board, then start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak Temple, built over 2000 years and covering an area of about 63 acres.

Luxor Temple - Proceed to visit Luxor Temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are displayed. Admire its obelisk and statues. Return to the cruise for dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Luxor West Bank Tour & Navigation to Edfu

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, begin your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then visit the Mortuary Temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen to your guide’s exciting story about how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh. End your tour in the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch. Begin sailing down the River Nile, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck, cross Esna Lock, and overnight in Edfu.

Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

Edfu Temple - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise, relax on the deck, and admire the unique landscape and scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise for dinner, followed by a folkloric party hosted by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Abu Simbel Optional Excursions

Aswan - Breakfast on board. Enjoy a leisurely morning on the deck, or if you wish, take an optional day trip to the rock-cut temples built by Ramses II at Abu Simbel, approximately 185 miles (300 kilometers) south of Aswan. This tour starts at 4:30 am and lasts about 8 hours (private or shared in a small group).

Aswan Tour to Philae Temple, High Dam and Overnight Train to Cairo

Temple of Philae - After breakfast, check out and explore the highlights of Aswan with your guide, learning about the Nubian immigration. Start your tour by visiting the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and generate electricity. Proceed to visit the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessed by a small motorboat.

Aswan - Later, you will be transferred to Aswan train station to board the sitting train back to Cairo.

Cairo - Fly Back Home
