• CC53+W5 El Coyote - Participants will embark on a kayaking adventure down the Santa Maria River in the Sierra Gorda de Queretaro. After gathering at the designated meeting point, the group will proceed to the river, where an introductory session will kick off the activity. A brief lesson on kayaking techniques will be provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the river (the activity takes place in a section with category 1 rapids, ideal for beginners). Following the class, participants will gear up and practice. Once prepared, the descent will begin; paddlers will navigate through calm pools, offering the chance to admire the river’s landscape, flora, and fauna. Between each pool lies the most thrilling part of the descent: Los Rápidos, where participants will paddle, applying their skills, and reveling in the waves, the water’s speed, and the adrenaline rush. Midway through the journey, there will be a break to swim and unwind in a pool surrounded by lush nature. The descent concludes at the confluence of the Ayutla River and the Santa Maria River.
