• Las Vueltas River - The adventure kicks off at Comarka Rafting & Kayak’s base, situated at Av. San Martin 872, El Chalten. Here, guides will warmly welcome participants, providing them with both technical and safety equipment, along with a briefing on its proper use.

After receiving their gear and changing, the group will embark on a 21 km journey along Highway 41 towards Lake Desert. Upon reaching the starting point of the activity at Laguna Condor Viewpoint, participants will disembark to complete their gear setup, including a jacket, vest, and helmet. Following a detailed technical and safety briefing, the activity will commence from the right bank of Laguna Condor.

This river section is known for its shallow, winding nature, offering stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Eléctrico, among others. The group will cover approximately 12 km, taking between an hour and a half to two hours, depending on river flow and wind conditions. Midway through the tour, there will be a stop for a delightful country brunch before continuing to the landing area at Mirador del Fitz Roy, located 10 km from Chalten. Upon arrival, a transfer will return participants to El Chalten at around 1:30/2:00 PM.

For those seeking a unique kayaking adventure, the Rio de las Vueltas awaits. This experience allows participants to immerse themselves in nature from the water, far from the bustling trails. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fitz Roy, the Rio de las Vueltas valley, and the Andean forest from an entirely new perspective.

Participants will be provided with essential gear, including a wetsuit, boots, vest, helmet, and paddle. A vehicle will transport the group 21 km along RP 41 to the Laguna Condor viewpoint. Following a safety briefing from the guides, the descent down the Rio de las Vueltas will commence. Along the journey, there will be opportunities to observe native wildlife and admire the stunning scenery of Mount Fitz Roy and its surrounding peaks. A delightful country brunch amidst nature will also be part of this memorable experience.
