Most unforgettable surprise plan of the trip - Most unforgettable surprise plan of the trip when we just couldn't hike anymore, we booked a 2 hour guided kayak tour the night before as an audible, and it was the perfect rainforest experience, run one minute, wind the next and it poured almost the entire time, our guide loved every minute of it and made it even more fun! Pura Vida! Covered and spacious bathroom/changing facilities, they even have a charming dog and generator when they lost power!

Friendly and informative staff led to an pleasant experience - The friendly staff and easy to find location was our first impression. Suggestions for a two hour route was very enjoyable paddle where we saw a good variety of birds. I highly recommend this outfitter.

Exc attention - Yesterday we went wakeboarding and it was spectacular!! We had a great time! Fede was our guide and explained with a lot of patience, he encouraged us a lot and we achieved it

Amazing time on the water! - We made a last minute decision to kayak and went with this great company. Marlon was really warm and friendly, the equipment was in great shape and the day was fabulous! We had 2.5 hours on the water by ourselves soaking in the beauty of the area including a full view of the volcano. Highly recommend this family-owned business!

Family paddleboarding fun - We wanted to do an activity on Lake Arenal and decided paddle boarding was best for our group. From the moment I reach out to Arenal Water Sports I knew I was in great hands. Instructions were clear and great directions and options were offered. We were made to feel very welcomed and not at all rushed as we go changed and onto the water. The team in the office and the dock were all super patient and friendly. The wind was up so they recommended a route and we had a great time on (and off) the boards. They even took photos of us that they shared when we go back on dry land! It was the best little break from our drive that day - we all loved it and these guys made it so easy - highly recommend!

Beautiful and secluded - We had fun even though it was cloudy and windy, could not see the great view of the volcano, which would normally be amazing, but there is beautiful jungle along the shore lines. Reservation and lunch was easy and well organized. They supply a small dry bag for your phone.

Good but not great - Was enjoyable but not everything we hoped. We signed up for paddle boarding but due to some wind, the guides recommended kayaking. Our main issue was we received no support or help at dock upon returning. However, the front desk did help us book a taxi back to our hotel. Just be aware it is difficult to get an uber from this area. I’d recommend booking this activity last minute if it is a clear day rather than booking ahead.
