Glaciar Perito Moreno Photos - The journey from El Calafate to the Perito Moreno Glacier spans 80 kilometers on a paved road. Departing from El Calafate in a vehicle accommodating up to 15 passengers, Lake Argentino with its Round Bay is visible on the right.
For the initial 40 kilometers, the route traverses the Patagonian steppe before reaching the entrance to the National Park. The park entrance is already covered, so there is no need for concern, as the guide will handle everything upon arrival.
Participants will enjoy a walk along the floe canal to view the northern wall of the Glacier. Lunch, including a drink, will be provided at the glacier. Following this, the group will explore the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. A 1-hour boat ride is also included, and the final view of the glacier will be celebrated with a farewell toast.
