- Eichstätt Cathedral - Officially named the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Willibald, and St. Salvator, this 11th-century Roman Catholic cathedral is located in the center of Eichstätt. It is the resting place of Saint Willibald, who arrived in “Eihstat” in 740 to find a devastated town but a miraculously preserved church of Saint Mary. He established a monastery here, which eventually led to the construction of the late Gothic cathedral in the 14th century.
- Schutzengelkirche Eichstätt - Constructed by the Jesuits in 1614 following the Catholic Reformation, this Catholic church underwent several reconstructions throughout its history, including during the 30 Years War. Initially built in the late Renaissance style, it was later transformed into Baroque in the 18th century. Fully restored after World War II between 1961 and 1964, its artistic and cultural significance remained intact during the war.
- Residenzplatz - Created in the 18th century by the prince-bishop of Eichstätt, this square was given its southern charm by two Italian master builders. After numerous changes over the past two centuries, the city restored it to its original splendor in 1985. Today, it is the city’s most beautiful square, surrounded by historic buildings and official institutions, such as the City Hall and the main building of Caritas.
- Ehemalige fürstbischöfliche Residenz - Eichstätt - The former residence of the prince-bishops of Eichstätt is a magnificent, three-winged palace built in Baroque style. The grand staircase and its remarkable cast iron railing are noteworthy. This place certainly holds many secrets and stories waiting to be discovered.
