Pick up and Aswan Guided Day Tour (Meals: Lunch and Dinner)

Aswan - Guests will be collected from their Aswan hotel or train station and transferred to a luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise for relaxation and refreshment.

Aswan High Dam - Begin the day tour in Aswan with a drive to the High Dam, a marvel of engineering from the 1960s. From the dam’s summit, enjoy views of Lake Nasser, the Kalabsha temple to the south, and the expansive power station to the north.

Temple of Philae - The final of the three renowned Aswan sites, often considered the most impressive. The Philae Temple was meticulously relocated (approximately 500 meters from its original location) due to the rising Nile waters caused by the High Dam’s construction. A brief motorboat ride will take you to the island, where a guide will lead a walking tour through the temple, followed by free time for personal exploration.

Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Philae Temple is beautifully situated on a river island, landscaped to resemble its original site.

Aswan - After the tour, guests will be returned to their Nile cruise in Aswan.

Nile River Valley - After the tour, guests will be returned to their Nile cruise in Aswan.

Abu Simbel, then Cruise Sailing and Visiting Kom Ombo Temple (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Early morning tour to Abu Simbel. Enjoy exploring Abu Simbel, then return to the cruise in the afternoon to prepare for sailing.

Temple of Kom Ombo - The cruise will later stop at the Temple of Kom Ombo, where guests will visit the temple with a knowledgeable guide. The Nile Cruise will continue sailing towards the Edfu Temple. Overnight stay on the Nile Cruise (Private room).

Visiting Edfu Temple and Continue Sailing to Luxor (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Temple of Horus - Enjoy leisure time as the cruise sails along the River Nile. The cruise will later stop in Edfu to visit the Temple of God Horus, accompanied by a friendly guide.

Luxor - The Nile Cruise will then continue sailing towards Luxor, arriving in the afternoon. Overnight stay on the Nile Cruise (Private room).

Visiting Luxor East & West Banks (Breakfast) + Drop Off

Valley of the Kings - Optional hot air balloon ride in the early morning.

After breakfast and check-out, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, home to 66 tombs from various dynasties.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and learn about Ancient Egypt’s only female ruler.

Colossi of Memnon - On the return trip, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenhotep III facing the Nile.

Temple of Karnak - The Temple of Karnak was initially dedicated to the god Amun Ra, his wife Mut, and son Khons. Over time, around 30 additional kings added their contributions to the complex. The site spans nearly 1 mile by 2 miles, featuring over 20 temples. The Karnak Temple complex is renowned for its exceptional examples of ancient Egyptian design and architecture, including the Hypostyle Hall, a monumental architectural achievement, and the Temple of Amun, a stunning array of giant papyrus-shaped columns.

Luxor Temple - Conclude the day with a visit to Luxor Temple.

Luxor - At the end of the tour, guests will be dropped off at their hotel in Luxor, train station, or any preferred drop-off location in Luxor.

King of the guides - A fantastic 4 days with alot of sightseeing involved. All the staff onward were very friendly and helpful We booked for everything excursion and thoroughly enjoyed every one. This was down to our guide King Mina. His vast knowledge and enthusiasm for his work is second to none. Any question thrown at him was answered with a full and interesting reply. Nothing was too much trouble for him, from changing the schedule to suit the group, to helping people out with any type of query. He even helped my partner with some medication when she came down with a dodgy tummy! King Mina made our whole trip so enjoyable from beginning to end and I cannot praise him enough

Non stop fun learning about history of Egypt, one afternoon of relaxing on the boat. Great food included. - King Mina the best guide I’ve ever had. Extremely knowledgeable with Egyptian history. He is very accommodating to the groups needs, also make the tour very enjoyable and fun. Highly recommended him to be your guide.

Great Guide and Tour - I recently went on a Nile river cruise on the boat Lady Carol. It was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant manager named Romie was especially kind and funny. I met the chefs while they were serving and they were very friendly as well. I really enjoyed myself on the boat but our guide Mina stands out. He's studying for his PhD in Egyptian history and he sure knows his stuff. He was a wonderful guide and I'm sure he told us things that other guides don't even know, and it really made the trip enjoyable. He took us to a spice store and it's a long story, but I'll just say the high points. I bought saffron, and yes I know it's very expensive, but this was Egypt so I was very surprised at the price, and something really just didn't seem right. But I was very tired and because we were in a group, I didn't make a big fuss. The next morning, I messaged Mina to tell him how I felt, but saying that it's over and can't be fixed, and I'd let it go. But when we came back to the boat from the temple, he immediately sat us down and said that he was responsible for everyone in the tour and what was happening to us on the tour. He said he'd called the spice man, he's taking a taxi and bringing his scale here to make sure that the saffron was the right weight. The owner of the store showed up with his scale, and I told him that he wouldn't even have to weigh it because the fact that he was there with his scale was proof enough. He did weigh it and it was correct. I didn't read the scale right. Shouldn't shop when I'm tired! There's a lot more to this on Mina's part for doing everything possible to make sure I was satisfied, but Mina showed great integrity and follow through in addressing this situation, which was totally my mistake, and he didn't even get mad at me. He was pleasant and kind the rest of the tour. Furthermore, when I did not get the refund from the hot air balloon he continued to help me with that, even though the tour was over. I must say that I think Mina was a great guide, a good person of quality and character, and I really enjoyed him. I highly recommend this tour. It was absolutely worth it and was wonderful on the Lady Carol. Thank you. (Although I would word it differently because it says a 4 day river cruise, but you actually only cruise 2 days, but that's just me)

Egyptian cruise - The staff on the Renaissance cruise were helpful and friendly. The cruise and all the temples we visited where spectacular. I loved every bit of it. A special thank you to KING Mina our guide who's knowledge on Egyptian history made it even more enjoyable 😄

Good cruise in a modern boat - Good tour with a modern boat. You board the boat for 4 days and do day trips each day to a different temple. Boat was new and very modern, food was Ok. We had Mina as a tour guide who was amazing and very knowledgeable. Small tour size of about 10 in each group. However beware and add $150 dollars to the price in the reservation. All the temple entrances is about $100 and they will ask for another $50 for gratuities for the staff in the boat. Overall nice cruise with friendly staff. Hot air balloon is a must! Ask for Mina as a tour guide!

Nile nostalgia - If you do all the tours you will completely absolutely satisfy any curiosity you may have around ancient Egyptian culture. The itinerary is full on and crams lots in. The ship is good with comfortable rooms, good staff and good variety of food options. There is time to enjoy the sun deck and small pool when cruising the nile - it is truly very beautiful. Our tour guide was mina who had everything well organised and explained everything well - and took good care of pregnant lady in our group. I would defo recommend- you also make new friends with the people in your alloted group.

4 Night cruise - Overall the cruise was very nice. The food was alright and the staff were not the nicest people. I especially found myself having an issue with someone at the front desk, I believe his name was Radman. From the moment we stepped onto the cruise boat he had a horrible attitude with my friend and I, and would make comments and give us nasty looks. Another issue was our tour guide Mina. As a 20 year old female traveler it is already a bit unsettling to go to new countries by myself or with another female friend, so we thought having a tour guide would help. From the first day I could tell Mina was staring at me a little too much and singling me out from the rest of the crowd. On the 2nd night he text my what’s app and proceeded to tell me how beautiful I was and that I made him crazy from when he first saw me. With two days left on the trip this tainted my experience because now I was uncomfortable and had to be on this boat with him for two more days. He would ask if I had a partner, and after replying yes, he then asked if I planned on marrying my partner. He has a wife and two young kids. He then deleted his messages to me after I did not reply, and tried to talk to me 1 on 1 on the last day of the tour to say that he didn’t mean anything by the messages and that it was just a misunderstanding. I could’ve been okay with that, but the deleting of the messages to me shows that you have a guilty conscience and that you know what you did is wrong. I do think the cruise overall is good, and our group was amazing, outside of Mina. The temples were beautiful and you do not need to do each one. Keep track of the ones you do so you only pay for such. Our hot air balloon ride was also cancelled due to the wind. Uncontrollable but keep in mind you are waking up at 3:30 for a 50/50 chance of doing so.
