- Gizeh Plateau - Explore the Giza Pyramids, including the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. This is followed by a visit to the Valley Temple, where the highest priests mummified King Chephren’s body and conducted his final heart judgment. Here, you can also get closer to The Great Sphinx for memorable professional photos, assisted by our expert tour guide. The Sphinx, known for its pharaoh’s head and lion’s body, dates back to the time of Chephren, the owner of the second pyramid at Giza Plateau.
- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, mostly destroyed during the village’s construction. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and served as Pharaoh Khufu’s tomb during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. Built in the early 26th century BC over approximately 27 years, it is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one largely intact. It is the most renowned monument of the Giza pyramid complex, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Memphis and its Necropolis.” It is located at the northern end of the line of the three pyramids at Giza.
- Pyramid of Khafre - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well in the temple’s floor by Mariette in 1860. The pyramid of Khafre, or Chephren, is the middle of the three Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, the second tallest and second largest. It is the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty Pharaoh Khafre, who ruled around 2558−2532 BC.
- Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also revealed several statues of Menkaure.
- Great Sphinx - Visit the Valley Temple where the priests mummified King Chephren’s body. Here, you will have a close-up view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and King Chephren’s head, standing by the vast funeral complex. It’s the perfect spot for amazing photos with the Sphinx in various fun poses, with guidance from our tour guide.

- The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. The museum showcases an extensive collection from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. The building’s architect was chosen through an international competition in 1895, the first of its kind, won by French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The museum was inaugurated in 1902 by Khedive Abbas Helmy II and has become a historic landmark in downtown Cairo, home to some of the world’s most magnificent ancient masterpieces. Among the museum’s unrivaled collection are the complete burials of Yuya and Thuya, Psusennes I, the treasures of Tanis, and the Narmer Palette, commemorating the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under one king, which is also among the museum’s invaluable artifacts. The museum also houses splendid statues of the great kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, builders of the pyramids.
