Inside, guests can wander through beautifully crafted indoor exhibits that bring Indigenous history and teachings to life. They will encounter traditional housing, hear Indigenous languages, learn about spiritual beliefs, and discover how people lived on the land long before modern Canada.
This experience was developed in close collaboration with Indigenous communities, making it one of the most genuine and impactful cultural exhibits in the country.
- North Saskatchewan River - Enjoy a scenic drive through Edmonton’s River Valley, enriched with stories about the land, Treaty 6, and the Indigenous Peoples who have inhabited this area for thousands of years.
Weather permitting, there will be a stop at ÎNÎW Art Park, where visitors can admire powerful Indigenous art pieces in a natural setting — each piece narrating its own story. It’s a serene and meaningful spot for photos, reflection, and connection with the land.
- Edmonton - The day concludes with a visit to a local Indigenous gallery or artisan collective. Guests can explore both traditional and contemporary works — from beadwork and carvings to paintings and handmade gifts.
