Great way to see the city - This walking tour was a great overview of the city. Hailey was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable. She was able to answer any questions that were posed and she was very pleasant to be with for the three hours.

Touring Edmonton in late spring - I spent a few days in Edmonton in April 2026 and I thought the best way to view the city was to book a guided tour, and was pleased to see the walking tour option as I hope enjoy a good stroll. The instructions for the meeting point were very clear and the guide was immediately recognisable (one big tick there). We set off on our walk around the city, pointing out the various landmarks and buildings and points of interest along the way. There were lots of opportunities for questions and kudos for the patience shown for some of my more esoteric questions. As the group was quite small, we were able to make a pitstop at Fawkes coffee before continuing on our way. As well as the downtown area, the tour went to -among other places - the ice District, the Parliamentary District, down to the river, and ultimately looping back to where we began. Having concluded the tour, I feel a little disappointed that I wasn’t here in the summertime to see the leaves on the trees and the many fountains filled with water as I suspect those are some spectacular sites to see. So I would think I would definitely recommend this to any summer tourists in Edmonton. But I would also recommend it in late spring as I did too. This is a gratuity based tour so the initial price, consider that an admin fee and you’re encouraged to tip generously based on how you think it was organised. I thought it was excellent, and I think you will too. One word of advice, do check the weather forecast before you go and dress accordingly.

Great walk - I had a great experience with Juan on the Edmonton walking tour. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about the city’s history, culture, and architecture. The tour was well-organized and gave us really good coverage of downtown Edmonton . I discovered places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Juan made the walk enjoyable. . Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the city in a fun and informative way!

FREE but Better than a FREE tour! - Hailey was a well-informed and excellent guide. She plied me with an interesting overview of Edmonton and its history. I lucked out that I was the only person on the tour. We covered four miles. I was delighted with the city's many murals. Hailey gave me some restaurant recommendations. The suggestion to visit the Muttart Conservatory was the best idea for this plant enthusiast. Walked from there to 82nd Ave (Whyte) historic area after that which was also recommended. Very cool area if you go the right way and miss the sketchy part of town. Thank you Toonie Tours.

Overall the tour was a bit lame - Good orientation to downtown Edmonton, helped us find our way around later that day. But...could have been more informative, our guide didn't know answers to what we felt were basic questions about Edmonton. Didn't know the monuments well. The description of the tour said the guides are passionate about the city, our guide was not. Nice young man but tour was a bit lame.
