A great day in the road - If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Lovely itinerary. A mix of history, nature and whiskey. Can’t do better. Our guide Roddy was spectacular. We appreciated his manner, his knowledge and his music selection. Thank you so much for a great day

Awesome Scotland - This tour was brilliant! A great sampling of everything that makes Scotland..well, Scotland! Our tour guide was Euan and was amazing! Very knowledgeable and personable, kept us entertained the whole time. The small group experience is absolutely the way to go - so much more intimate and personal than a "big bus" tour. I'd use Heart of Scotland Tours over and over!

A perfect day trip from Edinburgh - a great variety of experiences! - What a fun day! James took us on a day trip to get a variety of experiences that make his country so wonderful. We started with a trip to Stirling Castle, a beautiful castle that we had almost to ourselves because we arrived fairly early. We stopped in a small town at a popular bakery for delicious sandwiches before a quick stop to photograph the famous "hairy coo". The stop at Glengoyne was very well done - informative and generous with tastings. We finished with a trip to the banks of Loch Lomond, even getting a chance to stretch our legs and walk a bit of the path around it. In between visits James did a great job with history, Scottish lore and personal stories, plus plenty of music.

We got it all in one day! We even saw the Coos! - Roddy was an exceptional guide. He graciously shared snippets throughout the day that really enhanced the experience. Scottish History, Culture, Language, Geology(!), Botany and the significance of locations. Caring and courteous he made the trip to the Castle, the Distillery and the Loch all the more special on our first adventure out of Edinburgh into the Highlands, with short stops and photo, food and drink recommendations. Epic day for me and my wife, and we met other lovely couples too. Highly recommended!

Adventure in the Rain - Our tour guide Roddy turned a dreary rainy day into an educational adventure. Between the castle, the whiskey, and the loch, we discussed all sorts of topics. Above all, he was kind, patient, and real with us. It was a wonderful introduction to the country.

Best tour guide ever - My wife and I had an incredible time exploring Scotland over the summer. We had multiple tour guides showing us the beauty and culture of the regions but no tour guide was as enjoyable to be with as Roddy . A truly memorable trip. Roddy even became a part of our family now that he hangs on our Christmas tree. We highly recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed.
