We make a stop at Culross, where Claire was accused of witchcraft in the village of ‘Cranesmuir’. This charming village is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th century burgh in Scotland today.
- Falkland - After lunch we will continue to the village of Falkland, used for filming 1940’s Inverness. With over 28 listed buildings it gives a good representation of this period.
- Blackness Castle - Our final stop is at Blackness Castle, the 15th century fortress use to represent Fort William in the show.

The guide will provide fascinating insights into the history and stories of each site, making this an ideal excursion for anyone seeking a quick Outlander experience.
- A maximum of 10 people per booking
- Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. There are no maximum age restrictions.
- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- There are days when Doune Castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. We will then visit Linlithgow Palace in its place. Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and a filming location for Outlander, requires a local entry fee.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- Due to vehicle availability, there may be instances where this tour runs on a bigger bus.
- The tour may operate with our sister company, HAGGiS Adventures.
- The order of the itinerary route is subject to change.
- If downloading an audio guide, remember to bring your headset.

Outstanding Outlander Dqy with Karis - My husband and I truly enjoyed our trip to locations around Edinburgh related to the Outlander movie filming. We also enjoyed learning the real life history of these sites. Karis was an amazing tour guide for this day trip. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history, locations, music and the Edinburgh area. Her Highland accent is amazingly beautiful and she is quite amusing in her scripts as well. Also importantly she was well organized and a good driver. We felt very safe and informed throughout. This trip was very affordable and just the right amount of time to see everything. The bus holds about 15 people so a perfect sized group to tour with. We loved the whole day and feeling of Scotland was very strong. Would take another tour with this group again.

Travelling into the Outlander universe - It was a really good trip and we really enjoyed it. Karis was amazing. :) but we missed the kilt (it’s a joke)

Best tour ever - We had Dusty for our tour, he was really friendly. We loved how he taught us something about history, and not just outlander. He made our experience way more interesting.

So much fun for Outlander fans - I absolutely love Outlander and I had so much fun site seeing Scotland and places Outlander was filmed! Dusty ear our guide and he was very nice and had lots of interesting information to give!

Amazing day - The tour included the most important landmarks from Outlander Season 1. We had enough time to enjoy all the stops, and our tour guide Alistair was amazing. He offered fascinating insights into Scottish history throughout the tour!

Fabulous Outlander Tour - It was a wonderful tour led by our great tour guide Tovar! It was terrific hearing so much of the Scottish history and especially of the numerous Outlander sites we visited. I’d definitely recommend this tour for any Outlander fans.
I’m home and starting tonight watch Outlander from the beginning. It’s so exciting seeing so many of the sites we visited in the series. Truly an adventure of a lifetime!
