OLIVE Scotland! - We had most wonderful 2 day trip to Inverness. We had a wayward bottle of Olives, and the jokes began. Our guide/driver, Cloe, was enjoyed by all 5 of us. Stories, puns, and dad jokes were great fun. All kidding aside, Tourader kept us up to date and informed at all stages. And for the rest, they responded via email very quickly. Fully recommend this tour.

The Perfect Tour for Outlander Fans! - Being a huge Outlander fan, I knew my trip to Scotland wouldn't be complete without a tour to the most popular film sites of this beloved series. There were plenty of 1-day tours, but one day didn't seem to be enough for me. I'm so glad I found this 2-day tour that included accommodations! The itinerary included all the sites I wanted to see. As a bonus, we were blessed with spectacular weather and the sunny blue skies made for great photos. There were only 11 of us on the coach and we had fun getting to know each other during the drives between sites. While driving between sites, our amazing driver/guide, Paul Henderson (@thekiltedbiker), shared music and interesting information about Jacobite history, tartans, and other fascinating facts about Scotland, her wildlife, food and languages. He was well aware that most people are concerned about when/where they will eat and/or use the restroom and made sure we had ample opportunity for both. Every site was just what you would dream it would be, with plenty of opportunities to reenact your favorite scenes. The first day we went to Midhope Castle (Lallybroch), Blackness Castle (Wentworth Prison), Doune Castle (Castle Leoch). There were a few times when people from other tours were trying to film their Tiktok videos and generally getting in the way of everyone else's attempts to take photos. But this can't be anticipated or avoided, and we found that a bit of patience paid off and we all got the photos we wanted. We paid the admission fees to enter Midhope, Blackness & Doune, as these fees were not included, but it was well worth the money to see these properties. Midhope is derelict inside, but we got some great information from our guide about the building and filming there. The other castles are well kept and provide a wonderful experience to explore these ancient structures and imaging life long ago. We stopped along the way in Callender for lunch and a bit of shopping. We made several stops along the way to view the amazing scenery, including Glen Coe, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Fort William and other places. To end this amazing day, we arrived in Inverness and had time for dinner on our own after checking into our pre-arranged inn. Some of our group stayed at Moyness House and the rest of us stayed at Strathness House. The second day included Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns (inspiration for Craig na Dun), the Highland Folk Museum (scenes from S1 filmed here), Falkland (1940's Inverness), and Culross (Cranesmuir). Directly after breakfast, we headed straight to Culloden and it did not disappoint. This site is poignant and solemn and we walked along the paths on the battleground with quiet reverence. Before leaving for our next stop, Paul took the time provide a kilt and weaponry demonstration. Lunch was had at the museum (Note that the 1700's village is a long walk from the Museum's main entrance/cafe/restrooms!). Each place was interesting and fun to visit. Scotland is an amazingly beautiful place to visit, from the big cities, to the small quaint villages, to the breathtaking glens and lochs. It's a place every Outlander fan should experience at least once in their lifetime, not only for the ties to the series and books. but for the sheer love of this amazing country. This tour was the perfect way to experience it and I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in Scottish history and how the Outlander story fits into it.

Outlander & more - Outlander came to life for me, this tour was great! Our guide Keith was very knowledgeable and gave us not only Outlander highlights but a plethora of Scottish history. We loved our overnight stay in Inverness, wonderful accommodations. My hopes of seeing so many Outlander sights was completely fulfilled. Viator clearly communicated with me the changes made to the pick up locations. I highly recommend.
