Holyrood Distillery - Beautiful visit to Holyrood Distillery. It is a young but really super interesting distillery, capable of transmitting passion and innovation from the first moment. The tour was clear and engaging Our guide Lloyd was super prepared, kind and nice: he made the whole experience very fun, full of interesting facts and explanations, accompanied by great tastings. You can clearly perceive its competence and the desire to make everyone appreciate the world of distillation. Although I am not a whisky lover, I really enjoyed the visit and the approach of the distillery. I am convinced that such interesting and young projects are very successful. Experience absolutely recommended during a stay in Edinburgh.

Fantastic Distollery Tour - Diego was our tour guide and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable and he explained the process of Gin and Whisky from start to finish. The drams we were given were very good but Gin is not my tipple but the single malt whisky was great. Overall it was great, Diego was superb, very well done.

Nice visit and facility, pleasant staff - Tucked back in the city, in an old railway station building is the charming Holyrood Distillery. For a relatively new distillery, it feels older in a good way. Modern in operation, while maintaining a vintage feel. The shop area is nice, as is the bar area upstairs, with plenty of options (including sans alcohol), with exceptionally helpful staff in both. The tour was plesant; it's not a large place, so plenty of stopping to talk and taste. The final tasting dipped the review off 5 stars for me. It's nice to have water served to drink between samples and to also have a jug and droppers to add a drop or two of water with some of the drams. They were also out of one of the posted drams....I get that happens. Overall a good experience. I'd say parking is challenging in the area, but that would be an understatement. We walked the mile from out hotel, which was fine. Also avoided driver drams this way.
