Next, the tour will visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, set in a picturesque landscape beside a white sandy beach. This location has been featured in films such as El Cid, Robin Hood, and Elizabeth. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the castle’s interior and its extensive collection of aviation artifacts from both world wars.
• Alnwick Castle

The third stop is Alnwick Castle, the second largest castle in the United Kingdom, with its origins dating back to 1096. Fans of Harry Potter will recognize it as the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where young enthusiasts can participate in broomstick training. The tour will also include a view of the castle’s beautiful gardens and Europe’s largest treehouse. For those who prefer not to enter the castle, lunch can be enjoyed in the delightful village of Alnwick.

On the return journey to Edinburgh, the tour will pass through the scenic lowlands, stopping in the picturesque village of Etal. Here, visitors can admire the ruins of its 14th-century castle, originally built as a defense against Scottish raiders.
