Proposal - We had an incredible experience with Pictrip for our proposal/engagement photos in Edinburgh. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and well organized, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Our photographer, Vasileios, was phenomenal. He was friendly, calm, and knew exactly how to use the scenery and lighting to capture natural, authentic moments without making anything feel staged or awkward. He blended into the moment perfectly so the proposal still felt genuine while every important detail was beautifully captured.
The photo quality exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with the final images. We would absolutely recommend Pictrip and Vasileios to anyone wanting to capture a special moment while traveling. Thank you for helping us preserve such an unforgettable memory.

Amazing experience with our professional photographer - We LOVED our experience hiring a private photographer and having our entire family of 11 captured in Edinburgh while traveling from America. What wonderful photos and memories to have forever! It was raining that morning and our photographer worked with us to delay 1 hour so that the rain could pass. He was very responsive and did a great job engaging with us. I highly recommend!

Proposal in Edinburgh - While I could count on the positive feedback about Vasileios beforehand, my girlfriend and I were still a bit nervous. But that disappeared immediately after our first meeting, and during the photoshoot, "Vasi" made it a joy. Importantly, I was able to make good arrangements with him beforehand, making him an indispensable link in my marriage proposal. Highly recommended for making your Edinburgh trip a lasting memory!

Great photos and great memories! - We had the best time with Vasileios! The pictures are fantastic, and are great way to document a truly lovely time in Edinburgh. We were able to do some fun shots, with really creative framing and prompts and largely avoided the crowds. Highly highly recommend adding this to your trip plans!

Fantastic Photographer & Experience - We had a great experience with our photographer Vasileios for a couples photoshoot.
We had multiple flight cancelations and arrived in Edinburgh a day & half late. Vasileios was very accommodating and moved the booking to another day so we could still make it. He also messaged us the morning of our new booking and offered to start a few hours early due to forecasted rain. This was exceptional customer service.
The photo shoot itself was great. Vasileios knew the city very well and had a well planned route to get photos in many different popular locations. He was also helpful in positioning us in poses that worked and looked natural. During our walk between locations he was very friendly and provided some information on the city & recommendations on top food spots.
We received the edited photos about a week later and they came out great. Vasileios did a fantastic job and we would love to work with him again for any photography projects.

Definitely recommend this experience! - This was a great experience. We had the opportunity to do several poses in unexpected areas with views in the background that really let you know you were in Edinburgh. Our photographer knew all the right places, had the timing down to an art to capture photos with no other people and showed us the photos along the way to ensure our happiness with them.
Only one note for the Viator app (not the photographer) is that the meeting point location was hard to confirm and we ended up at the wrong place. Eventually we got together and had a wonderful time thanks to Vaselio. I would encourage you to confirm the meeting point at least a day in advance to avoid the stress in the moment we had.

Experience never happened, don't book on a holiday - Don't book on a holiday, our photographer never showed! We booked for 12/25/25 at 10am and waited until 10:15am at the meet spot. Sent 4 messages through viator to the photographer with no response. They sent a message in WhatsApp asking for more info for our session after the fact. I would not recommend booking for a holiday. You might book and pay, but in our experience we had no photoshoot. Still haven't gotten a refund from viator yet, they asked us to request a refund from the photographer. In my opinion, I booked with viator so they should put up the $ to refund us immediately if the experience didn't happen.

Terrible - We had a perfectly beautiful, sunny, cloudless morning and were excited to have such fortunate weather for our photos. When we received the photos, they were so edited and overexposed looking, it looked terrible. We reached out to ask if we could just have the original, unedited photos and were rudely dismissed. Do not book this experience.
