• Royal Mile - Walkers will gather at the top of the Royal Mile and proceed down to Holyrood, delving into the rich history of Edinburgh’s ancient core. During the journey, participants will discover the Royal Mile’s connections to JK Rowling, witch trials, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Enlightenment figures Adam Smith and David Hume, the poet Robert Burns and his secret lover ‘Clarinda’, serial killers, public executions, Jules Verne, Secret Gardens, and the Outlander series. They will also see a remnant of the old city wall and gatehouse, and learn about the city’s ties to slavery.
