Highly Recommend the Walk Dan Village, New Town & Royal Botanics - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this small-group, 2½-hour walking tour of Dean Village and the Royal Botanic Garden. It was a refreshing way to explore a quieter side of Edinburgh that we hadn’t experienced before. Our guide, Lewis, was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the area to life with interesting stories and insights. He struck a perfect balance between informative and relaxed, making the entire walk both enjoyable and easygoing. This tour turned out to be a true hidden gem of our trip to Edinburgh—highly recommended for anyone looking to go beyond the usual sights and discover something a bit more special.

Beautiful tour brimming with history - This walking tour was fantastic! Lewis took us to some of the most beautiful spots in Edinburgh; most that I had no idea even existed. It was a rainy, cold day and the tour was still wonderful. Lewis was a great host and very knowledgeable. He didn't waste too much time at the beginning gabbing, which I really appreciated. Instead he dove right into the tour, showing us really cool sites and telling us all about the history. Plus he was really patient with the guests who wanted to take photos. I loved the mindful walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens the most. What a special place that Lewis made even more magical. I can't wait to book another tour with his company!

Fabulous personal tour of Dean Village - An invaluable guide, Lewis has created an interesting walk with plenty of gorgeous views and sights which he was able to share the history of. Lewis was easy to talk to and we really appreciated his help guiding us for our onward journey. Thoroughly recommend and wish Lewis well with his Walks with Lewis initiative as he also guides people to locations such as Arthur's Seat.

A different “take” on Edinburgh - The early start at 9.30 was ideal. Lewis lead us through quiet streets, a real relief in such a busy city. He was informative and he was kind. We are both in our late 70s, reasonably fit and this walk was in our capabilities. Best to wear trainers.

Long Sunday Walk - Long walk. With long period between stops. Nice for a Sunday stroll, but not as interesting as other trolls, which is no reflection on our guide, who did his best to make it interesting
