Oh no! Is my hotel haunted? - This is the first walking tour my daughters and I have ever been on. We had already been to some of Edingburgh's main attractions on our own. We really wanted to go on a haunted tour on this trip and came across Hauntedburgh Tours. This was the best decision. Our tour guide, Ross, was amazing! We not only got spooky lore but also some historical information that we could tie with the information that we gathered on our own. After spending our time with Ross and learning what we did about the city, I'm not gonna lie, we couldn't help but think if our hotel was haunted and had a bit of difficulty falling asleep. Next time we are in Edingburgh, we will definitely seek out Hauntedburgh Tours for more spooky lore and hopefully it will be some time around Halloween. Thanks Ross, loved your energy!!!!

A Spooky, Fun, and Fascinating Walk Through History - A thoroughly entertaining tour. Ross was very funny, knowledgeable and theatrical. Highly recommend this. £15 for a 90 minute tour and was worth much more than that.

A proper ghost tour with great storytelling! - I love going on ghost tours, and after seeing a leaflet for this tour at my hotel I decided to book it. Ross was my tour guide, and what a talented storyteller he is!
The tour was filled with gruesome tales, scary ghosts from different time periods, silly jokes, and it covered a nice route with lots to see. The tour took about an hour and a half, which was the perfect amount of time for me.
The weather had been bad the entire day, making me the only person who was optimistic enough about the rain clearing up to book that particular timeslot. But a crowd of one whole person didn't stop Ross from pulling out all the theatrics of a proper ghost tour! I had a very enjoyable afternoon.
I highly recommend booking this tour!

Fantastic - We booked the tour for a 10th birthday celebration, and it was absolutely fantastic! Ross was a brilliant host — funny, engaging, and full of great stories that struck the perfect balance between spooky and fun for the kids (and the adults!).
The information he shared was genuinely fascinating, and the whole group was hooked from start to finish. Everyone left smiling, laughing, and chatting about their favourite ghostly moments.
A really memorable experience and a perfect birthday treat. Highly recommend! 👻

Best tour guide ever!!! - The experience was amazing! The cost for this tour is great but well below the experience you will receive. The tour makes the most out of a hour and an half. Our tour guide Ross definitely made the show for us. It was truly like a show. He was very funny and charismatic. During the transitions of the tour where he was more serious and made conversation and the stops where he was more in character was seamless. The stories were true to the sites and very descriptive. Fun, educational, and spooky. So good I’m considering naming our first born Ross. Wish I would have done it the first night we were here.
