Excellent way to discover Edinburgh - We had the best of times! Daniel was an amazing guy - he fully involved us in his tour of interesting aspects of Edinburgh. He was so knowledgeable and also very funny too. Clearly knows his Scottish history. Definitely recommend joining him for the tour - & his dog was delightful too!

Hilarious and informative tour. Highly recommended! - Had so much fun on this tour. Daniel is an excellent guide- he quickly developed a great rapport with every one of us and was very funny but also very informative. You’ll learn a whole lot about Scottish and Edinburgh culture, history, language, literature, architecture and have a great laugh along the way. Thoroughly recommend this tour to tourists and locals alike.

Best experience in Edinburgh - My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We laughed our assess off. We didn’t have any problem following Daniel, even though the Scottish accent can be hard to understand sometimes. The tour was interesting and we learnt a lot about Edinburgh and Scottish history. Brahan (the dog) was very sweet and docile. We would recommend the experience if you want to go on a different tour of the city and if you’re a bit self-mocking

A very entertaining history tour! - Daniel was very funny and clever remembering every ones names and backgrounds so he could crack jokes relative to our backgrounds making this very personal! Not only was he hilarious, his knowledge of Scottish history is amazing. We throughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone with an open mind and sense of humour

Journey for a laugh - Having discovered Daniels hilarious and informative Mountebank podcast in 22, it's been on the bucket list ever since to do the walk so when an opportunity arose to visit Edinburgh from Australia we jumped at it. From the second Daniel & Brahan appeared we were all in stitches. Daniel is a very funny comedian & is also an approachable fella who is very knowledgeable all things Edinburgh & Scots history. My only complaint is 2 hours wasn't long enough 😁 If ever you're in Edinburgh do yourself a favour & get along (& do what we did and finish up at his Whisky tasting) Cheers from two very satisfied customers

Worth it’s weight in laughs & history - Daniel was recommended to us by fellow South Africans who did his Comedy Tour. It was great fun. Daniel took a couple of minutes to find out a little bit about us all, which not only helped us all get a little insight into our fellow travellers, but was hilariously weaved into his comedy. Daniel is of course not only funny but has a masters in Scottish history making it both a fun and interesting tour around the old town of Edinburgh. Don’t miss it. (Of course his dog steals the show).
