Excellent 90 minutes of cheese tasting with Xander - My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our cheese tour today. Xander was lovely - friendly and knowledgeable. It was all very relaxed and we tried lots of different cheeses, with a glass of wine too. Stockbridge is a vibrant area, with lots of great bars, cafes, bakeries etc. And of course, cheese shops. It’s fun to be a tourist in your own city!

Cheese crawl with Jenny - Jenny was our guide. We had a great time. The cheese was interesting and plentiful and Jenny was full of information. The people we met on the tour were good company. We will be happy to recommend the tour to others.

Excellent Cheese Adventure - We really enjoyed the tour and Kieron was a great tour guide! He went out of his way to accommodate my mother on the last stop for a non alcoholic drink at the final stop. Amazing cheese, great tour guide and a lovely tour of a part of Edinburgh we wouldn’t have visited if not for the tour

Cheese! - Love cheese so this was a natural thing to do! Kieran (he didn't say how to spell his name) was a great guide, telling us about all the amazing cheeses and how the cheese shops in the Stockbridge area developed. Definitely do if you are into cheese, cheesemonger history! The glasses of wine in the little Stockbridge park area was fantastic, what a way to do a tasting.

Thoroughly recommended - A great walking tour exploring different cheeses and areas of Edinburgh that would not be found by a tourist on their own

This tour is the Big Cheese - Keiran was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful and well prepared for the tour. He had everything our group needed in his backpack to enjoy the tour to the max. He was able to share info and knowledge on the various cheese shops and cheeses that we tasted. The selection of cheese was great and it introduced us to varieties we didnt know about. They were all delicious! Would highly recommend!

A great way to spend a couple of hours in a great city - Great tour with Xander. Some very nice unusual cheeses (and some chicken liver pâté) with a nice glass or two of wine. Xander was knowledgeable and knew the local deli’s well. It’s a walking tour and mostly outside in a great part of Edinburgh. A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours in a great city.

Great guide with a fountain of knowledge - Great tour with Xander. Some great cheeses (and some chicken liver pâté) with a nice glass or two of wine. Xander was knowledgeable and knew the local deli’s well. It’s a walking tour and mostly outside in a great part of Edinburgh. I did find it a bit odd that you had to stand outside and drink wine and cheese in a park..it needs to be made clear at the time of booking.. I would recommend that they find a bar or venue and get the cheese included as it was very cold in Edinburgh in February Albeit a great way to spend a couple of hours in a great city.

A lot of fun but needs more work on content and comfort - Our guide was great, very enthusiastic and a good sense of humour. There were a number of things that couple be improved; 1. The tour only lasted 75 minutes rather than the 2 hours planned, 2. We had 3 stops for cheese tasting. The first was great but for the second and third we had to stand in the street outside to eat our cheese (nowhere to go in the cheese shop as they were too small). If it was raining there would have been a problem. 3. The cheeses were very samey, e.g. no goats cheese. 4. Information was quite limited. Having said all of that we did have a lot of fun. Basically the tour has a lot of potential but it needs a lot more work on the actual content and needs to be better thought through. You cant have people standing on the street cutting cheese, etc.
