Our guide Barry gave us an amazing day out - An excellent experience our tour guide Barry took us on a great tour of Aswan. His knowledge of the local ecological sites and ancient Egyptian history was excellent and he was very friendly and accommodating. Our driver was also great and looked after us very well throughout the whole day.

Excellent history tour of Aswan - The tour was excellent!! My tour guide Barry and driver did an outstanding job and really made the Aswan’s history come alive! This is definitely a history buff’s tour with the Aswan dam and other site. It’s a long drive from Luxor, but a nice change of pace from the city

Great trip to Aswan! - The Reflections Travel day trip to Aswan was our best tour while in Egypt! Barry, our Egyptologist guide, was great—he was well equipped to handle our group’s many questions and tailored the experience to meet our needs and interests. The Edfu and Phila temples, in particular, were breathtaking to visit…some of the best preserved sites we saw while traveling across Egypt. Highly recommend!

Good tour with a knowledgeable guide - This is a good tour, but there are constraints on the pickup and drop times as travel periods for foreigners are restricted to daylight hours.
Better options of restaurant could have been possible, the restaurant we were taken to could only serve chicken and salad

Interesting - Temple of Horus and Philai were worth seeing, but the Aswan dam was not quite honestly, it would have been better if the Temple of Kom Ombo had been included instead. The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the sites and the driver got us there and back safely. It is a long journey there and back.
What we did not appreciate was picking up an unwelcome guest on the outbound journey when we went through one of the police check points. We had paid for that private car. It seemed like the driver was forced to take this guy and we felt we couldn't say no either but we should not have been put in that position.

Travel sightseeing from Luxor to Aswan - The tour was done to the end and all the sites we visited were amazing, but I felt like I couldn't communicate with the Guide and the company.
We communicated beforehand with the 7am meeting, but the driver came at 6am and couldn't eat breakfast slowly. He also says he doesn't know about lunch at an upscale restaurant or the Guide even though the plan includes a yacht, and lunch is served at a £40 Egyptian local fast food restaurant (upscale?). Restaurant??), we were repeatedly asked if the plan really has a yacht (good to have it for the Tripadvisor Team to see)
I was told I would show you the Aswan High Dam, but later I found out that the place I visited was the Old Aswan Dam. I don't know what you mean, but I felt a little cheated, and the other tours I took were great, so I'll use 3 as a comparison.

Badly Organized & Unprofessional - They driver skipped the major destination, The Temple of Horus in Edfu. We didn't find out until we arrived in Aswan. It wasn't his fault because no one from the tour company told him that he was supposed to stop. We were insistent on seeing Edfu so the guide arranged for us to go back early. We got less than two hours in Aswan, no lunch, and then sat in the car 3 hours to make it to the Temple before it closed. The day was wasted and for what it cost my friend & I are both upset. They refunded us $15 which is honestly more insulting than no refund at all.
