A must add to your Luxor itinerary: Edfu & Kom Ombo - Highly recommend this company, Luxor Egypt Tours for all your needs, whether shared or private, but suggest private so you don't have to wait for others in the group. Very easy to communicate with the company, always responsive and very helpful with anything. Excellent driver and our guide Mena showed us all the important details and history of Edfu and Kom Ombo. 5 stars all around.

Highly recommend - I did a private day trip from Luxor to Aswan as a solo female traveller and had a fantastic experience. Ahmed, the driver, was very safe and professional, which made me feel secure the whole way. Sayed, the tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and attentive. I learned so much and felt well looked after. Highly recommended for anyone travelling in Egypt, especially solo travellers!

Day trip - A great day tour! Sayed Gamal was such a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and his English was great. He was also very good with our kids (we had 6 in our group of varying ages). Ahmed was our driver and did a great job! Overall a great experience.

Private day trip to Luxor/ Aswan - This was a wonderful experience with my guide Mena. He was knowledgeable about all history pertaining to the archeological sites and their significance. I really enjoyed myself. I am also thankful that he worked with my schedule so I can make it back on time to my next tour.

Very Good - Professional guide and driver. Also, a very good way to explore Upper Egypt's culture. Two different guides in Edfu and Aswan were very well-educated about history. You also have a little flexibility with the tour program, unlike group tours. Very enjoyable.

Really recommended - I really recommend this tour, we had an aearly start to beat the crowds and due to the guide Mena's perfect timing we were able to spend a lot of time in the three temples basically alone. The temples are really brethtaking, specially Esna temple because all the original colors are emerging due to an archeological expedition that'staking place right now. Mena was a super knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, and Salah really is the BEST driver. We spend a great day with them!

A good day but (too) busy! - It's been a busy day! First of all, I want to make it clear that the English guide and the driver were super friendly, professional and kind. Too bad the agency does not have a French guide at its disposal. However, this day is very complicated in terms of organization. First downside: admissions to the various sites, transport (felouque) and tips are not included in the price of the day which considerably increases the note. Similarly, there is no meal time and therefore the price of the meal is also not included in the price of the day. We left early, the driver picked us up at the hotel which is very appreciable! He had planned a cupcake on board, which is also appreciable. We didn't get a bottle of water despite the heat. However, no official snack (and we are not told to have a snack). We found something to eat at the Aswan Dam. Likewise, after visiting a two temple and the unfinished obelisk, no lunch is planned. We were hungry and the driver took us back to the restaurant around 2:00 pm (but the time is not scheduled for during the day and it is not specified to have a meal as we could have planned enough food in the car without problem). Thus we arrived at the last temple and we had only 40 minutes to visit as it closed and we had to pass the roadblocks before 6:00 pm. Which we did not manage to do but the driver is an excellent negotiator. Attention also, we will offer you a stop in a "perfumery" in Aswan which is obviously the city of essences. However, it is not a perfumery where the tour freely as we have the image in France. We are settled in a living room and a person (sympathetic to the matter) gives us a whole demonstration, offers us tea, and makes us feel and test products. We thought it would take 10/15min for us to bring back a little souvenir but it took 45 minutes not foreseen in the program. Similarly, no obligation to buy but well one person accompanies us in all our steps to buy ... In short, the day went well, but it is too tight in terms of organization (left at 6:00 in the morning, returned a little after 7:00 pm) and the ancillary costs are important. I would like to point out that the driver and guide were really excellent and we meet all our requests despite the schedule requirements. We warmly thank them for their professionalism.
