- Aswan High Dam - It’s time to take a break for lunch. Once you’ve finished your meal, we’ll head to the impressive High Dam. This structure is considered one of the most significant accomplishments of the past century in Egypt, as it contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Not only does it provide the country with water and electricity, but it also protects Egypt from the destructive flooding of the Nile River.
- Temple of Philae - Next, you’ll explore the Temple of Isis at Philae. Construction of the temple began during the reign of Ptolemy II and was completed under the Roman emperors. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, who was considered the mother of all gods, the mother of Horus, and the consort of Osiris.
- Unfinished Obelisk - Continuing on, we will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an impressive example of ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques. This obelisk is believed to have been commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.

Really Interesting Tour - We had a really interesting day seeing the sites between Luxor and Aswan. Mena packed a lot into the day - we visited 4 sites in total! Would recommend for people looking for a more in depth historical tour of this area!

A day I will surely remember - Wonderful! Absolutely recommended! Our driver Tamer was very professional, punctual, and courteous. We travelled with a modern van with all the comforts. We've seen some wonderful things. The temple of Isis is really beautiful, it is located on a small island and to get there we took a small boat. Our Hafiz guide was also very good and always available for any questions.

Probably the best tour of our Nile cruise - highly recommend! - Ali at Luxor Egypt tours arranged a private tour for our group of 7 seniors, of Aswan Dam, Philae temple and the unfinished obelisk, which we took during our TUI Nile cruise berth at Aswan. It was probably the best tour of the holiday. Our guide, Mo, was passionate about the history of his country, and a mine of information about everything, while managing not to overwhelm us with facts. He took his cues from us, his English was masterful and he spoke clearly, and not as if from a pre-learned script, He tailored it to our requirements, and was fascinating to listen to. He was smartly dressed and the transport was comfortable and clean. The tickets for the boat and temple at Philae were all arranged by him so no queuing. We felt we had made a friend! What a wonderful day! Thanks, Ali, for arranging!

Luxor Day Trip from Marsa Alam - We would recommend this agency for excursions 100%!! We arranged with them a family trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor in the day. Punctual and impeccable Service! Maddalena, the language in Italian, professional but above all very kind and attentive to our needs. He took us to lunch in a super Egyptian restaurant where we ate very well overlooking the valley of the queens.
Our driver, Ahmed, number one!!
He drove for many hours always with a smile on his lips, not making us weigh fatigue. Nice to everyone and very thorough. Ask for him!
Bravo all.... unforgettable holiday!!

A must add to your Luxor itinerary: Edfu & Kom Ombo - Highly recommend this company, Luxor Egypt Tours for all your needs, whether shared or private, but suggest private so you don't have to wait for others in the group. Very easy to communicate with the company, always responsive and very helpful with anything. Excellent driver and our guide Mena showed us all the important details and history of Edfu and Kom Ombo. 5 stars all around.

Aswan day trip from Luxor - would recommend - Amazing time with Mina my guide and our driver, both were very patient and allowed me to spend as long as I wanted at attractions. Very comfortable car ride and enough time at all spots. Also very informative on the tour.

Highly recommend - I did a private day trip from Luxor to Aswan as a solo female traveller and had a fantastic experience. Ahmed, the driver, was very safe and professional, which made me feel secure the whole way. Sayed, the tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and attentive. I learned so much and felt well looked after. Highly recommended for anyone travelling in Egypt, especially solo travellers!

Day trip - A great day tour! Sayed Gamal was such a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and his English was great. He was also very good with our kids (we had 6 in our group of varying ages). Ahmed was our driver and did a great job! Overall a great experience.

Fun Road Trip - This was such a fun day trip. Edfu and Kom Ombo temples are a must see, and my guide Sayed Gamal had so much information to give. Salah was my wonderful driver and I highly recommended this tour! Mummified crocs are a definite highlight too.

Trip not safe to do. - The Temples were magnificent.Not worth price paid.we moved through the entrance of each site very easy.The time at each site was enough.Lucky to be there..It was a very poor day,Nine hours in a small car not as was expected.Ride from hell,there seem to be no rules of the road ,bikes cars,people just walking across in front of you.
