Fantastic town and museum we had a great day visiting Edam, the museum was great including info on buildings and the town, highl - Brilliant and informative, lots of tastings in the shop. It's a fascinating place to visit. Easy to access and the town has great little shops and cafes

Cheese galore! - This small museum has a lot of information about Edam cheese and the town Edam as well. Complete with fun interactions and sample tasting at the end. Lovely little museum and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Audio guide cheese museum - Museum of cheese explains very clearly how Edam cheese is made. An experience not to miss. In the shop you can taste all different cheeses. Wonderful!

Quality cheeses - Edam is a very small town not too far from Amsterdam. The cheese market is very nice and only takes place in summer. The cheeses that can be purchased in this shop are excellent.

Interesting enough but way over priced - A nice enough introduction to making Edam cheese and the history on the town, but audio only and really not that much there for 8 euros. Much is promotion for the store next door.

Visit too fast - The explanations about the history of the Welligs is very fast, the cheese making, lasts 30 seconds, in short all in 5 minutes and goes to the shop. Besides, if we comment, we get put in its place without half measure. It's a shame that commerce goes above history!
