Volcano hike - The last part of the hike leads over dried lava fields. Very impressive. Good footwear is recommended.

Professional, Punctual, and a Fantastic Experience! - Had a fantastic experience with this agency! They were very responsive and quick to reply via email and WhatsApp. The taxi pickup at our hotel was perfectly on time in the morning. The itinerary itself was well-planned, and we thoroughly enjoyed the volcano hike. Our guide provided very professional service throughout the trip. A quick tip: Make sure to wear hiking boots with thick, stiff soles— The volcanic rocks are quite sharp and will definitely scratch up normal athletic shoes.

Great, cooler then you’d think too - Great hike, very easy as you start near to the summit. It’s cooler than you’d think, as the clouds congregate on the south side of the volcano. We were not sure whether to do it as it was so hot in Isabella town but it was a lot cooler on the hike - it did get hot during the lava flow part as there’s no shade but that wasn’t for very long. The tour guide was fantastic. We got back around 1.30pm so we had plenty of time to make the 3pm ferry back to Santa Cruz

A Worthwhile Hike - Do not book this tour on your ferry day. Unfortunately, we had to rush the whole time because of one family who needed to catch the ferry. Pickup starts at 8AM, they shuttled you up the hill and give you a sack lunch for later, and then you start hiking at about 9AM. I don't recommend sitting in the front of the shuttle (there's nothing to hold onto). The hike was amazing, the guide was peppy, and everyone had a good time. Great views, really cool old lava flows that you can walk on, and lots of photo opportunities. I returned to my hotel at about 2PM. I would've liked to have spent an extra hour just walking around and exploring the main attraction, or even 15 minutes, but we got about 2 minutes at the viewpoint. Still, this was one of the main highlights of my Galapagos trip. You'll be hiking for 5 hours, so be in shape. Don't do this hike on your ferry day and selfishly rush everyone else.

Unbelievable Sights at Sierra Negra - We had an amazing day on this guided tour! Omar was a great guide and provided a wealth of information. The pace of the hike was good. Well worth the effort to see a beautiful and other worldly environment on beautiful Isabela Island. We enjoyed the food after our hike -very good! Thank you for the photos and for a wonderful day!

Good steady walk up the Sierra Nagar volcano. - Yes it's a good 17km walk yet it's very pleasant. The guide we had split his talk updates into English for the English part of the group and Spanish for the other part. He was very good and gave a good talk about the volcano and it's history and also the island and it's creatures. They provided a small snack of a drink, fruit biscuit and a cheese roll. All very edible. The hotel pickup was spot on time and was in a open bus with the other tour guests. Overall out at 07.00 and back at 13.30.

Great hike, return can be strenuous if it is a hot day - Generally a very good tour. We got to explore some unique landscape. The last part of the hike on solidified lava is bit strenuous even though it is not very long. The part you should be aware of is the climb back up from the lava vent is during mid day and if the sun is up in the sky it can be absolutely exhausting. Even though we hike a bit we felt a little unprepared for the heat.

Book another company - First of all to pay this much to go on this hike is ridiculous it’s a walk where you can’t walk the wrong way, it’s straight, and sure it would be nice to have a guide who would tell you about stuff in as said English, but the guide was 20 meters behind the group the whole time, you had to go back there and ask him many times to get info, furthermore the lunch they packed was so lackluster I got the driest bread thinkable with s teaspoon of canned tuna in, some others In the group got nice soft bread, with tuna and herbs. when we got to the end of the trail he took pictures of us and then we had walked for 2,5 hours and then after 5 minutes at the viewpoint he made us go back

Lack of assistance, communication and information - During our stay in Galapagos Islands we presented serious drawbacks with Nativa Group / Grupo San Vicente (Isabela) and Hotel La Laguna (Isabela) due to lack of information, disorganization and inappropriate treatment. When hiring excursions, the real difficulty, extent and terrain type of activities such as Bartolomé Island (trail with stairs 600–800 m and 114 m elevation) and Sierra Negra Volcano / Chico Volcano (approx. 8.4 km round trip and 8.4 km round trip on loose and slippery volcanic terrain) were not clearly reported. This information was partially known and at the last minute, when we were already at our destination, with no margin to rearrange the trip. We tried more than 10 times to communicate by WhatsApp messages and calls with Kevin Jill Jaramillo, a person with whom we contracted the excursions, without getting an answer, going without assistance when we needed it most. In addition, in May we booked Hotel La Laguna for Booking with free cancellation and payment upon arrival. In September we were required by mail to prepay 50% under threat of canceling the reservation. Only then did we learn that hotel and agency belong to the same owners, a relationship that was not transparently reported, forcing us to pay for accommodation and excursions in advance. During the stay there was confusion of roles, as hotel staff reported excursion schedules. On the excursion to Las Tintoreras, on 6/1 at 8:30 a.m., a driver presented himself shouting aggressively and threateningly, even though the reported schedule was 10:00 a.m., generating an unpleasant and unnecessary moment.
