BALTRA – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – ISABELA ISLAND

Isabela Island - Today marks the beginning of the Galapagos Multisport tour. It is essential to schedule an early flight to Baltra Airport to fully participate in all the planned activities.

Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, an English-speaking guide will greet you and take you to Puerto Ayora for lunch. Afterward, you will board a speedboat to Isabela Island, a journey lasting approximately two hours. It is advisable to bring a light waterproof jacket and motion sickness medication if needed. Once on Isabela Island, a driver will transport you to your hotel. Please note that itineraries for flights arriving after 12:00 PM may differ slightly. Kindly inform our staff if your flight is scheduled to arrive after noon.

SIERRA NEGRA ACTIVE VOLCANO TREK – CONCHA PERLA SNORKEL

Isabela Island - In the morning, embark on an adventure to the Sierra Negra Volcano, home to the world’s second-largest crater, located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil. A 45-minute bus ride will lead to a rewarding hike, with a box lunch provided at the volcano. After the trek, enjoy a brief rest at the hotel before visiting Concha Perla. Delight in snorkeling or swimming, observing colorful fish, sea lions, and possibly a sea turtle.

BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – ISLET TINTORERAS

Isabela Island - After breakfast, a hotel pickup will take you on a bike ride to explore the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and the historic Wall of Tears, constructed by prisoners from 1946 to 1959 during Isabela’s penal colony era. Return for lunch before an afternoon sail to Tintoreras Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as Tintoreras. Encounter penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas, and enjoy snorkeling with sharks amidst a vibrant array of fish.

KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – ISABELA ISLAND HIGHLANDS

Isabela Island - Today, join the guide at the bay of Puerto Villamil for a kayaking excursion along the coastal zone, offering opportunities to observe and photograph marine iguanas, sea lions, and penguins. After a short break, return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a bike ride to the island’s summit to visit Cave Sucre, the Mango viewpoint, and Campo Duro, where you can see and approach giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

TRANSFER OUT – BALTRA

Galápagos Ecologic Airport - Today marks the conclusion of your Galapagos Multisport adventure. Early in the morning, travel to Santa Cruz Island on the public speedboat departing Isabela Island at 6:00 AM. A breakfast-to-go will be provided before departure. Upon arrival in Puerto Ayora, a Spanish-speaking driver will transport you to the Itabacca Channel and assist you in returning to Baltra Island for your flight.

This 5-day Galapagos Multisport tour is full of adventurous activities like kayaking, snorkeling, biking, and hiking. You will stay 4 nights on Isabela Island. During these active adventures, you will observe plenty of wildlife like playful sea lions, giant manta rays, colorful tropical fish, Giant tortoises, and even more spectacular Galapagos species. Small-Group: The tour can start every day of the year. You will both go on group day tours and private day tours. For the group day tours, every day you will join different groups, with different guests. Every group tour has a different guide. During the private day tours, one guide will accompany you and your travel party. No other guests will join these tours.

• It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
• If your flight is delayed or canceled and you cannot make it to Puerto Ayora in time to take the last speedboat to Isabela Island, which departs around 02:00 PM, the team assist you with finding accommodation on Santa Cruz Island but this will be on your own expense. You will miss the planned activities.
• There are no guides on the transportation by public speedboat between islands.
• Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
• Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
• Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
• It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
• The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather conditions, availabilities, National Park regulations or notifications and unforeseeable circumstances.
• It is possible that pictures will be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel

• Accommodation is based on number of travelers, if you are traveling with a group, you will be sharing rooms (single rooms require an extra fee).
