QUITO – SAN CRISTOBAL – FREE AFTERNOON

Malecon San Cristobal - An English-speaking guide will be ready to greet you at San Cristobal airport. If your arrival is before 2:00 PM, lunch will be provided. Arrivals after this time will not include lunch. The rest of the day is self-guided. Optional activities include visiting The San Cristobal Interpretation Center to learn about the islands, their species’ evolution, fauna, migration, and human settlement. You can also visit Playa Mann for an initial encounter with the islands’ stunning waters.

KICKER ROCK

Kicker Rock - Following breakfast, embark on a boat trip to snorkel at Kicker Rock, a breathtaking landmark in the Galapagos Islands. This site features two volcanic rocks standing 140 meters tall, located off San Cristobal Island’s coast. From the south, the rocks resemble a sleeping lion, hence the Spanish name León Dormido. From another angle, they appear like a boot, giving rise to the English name: Kicker Rock. This small island is a haven for various marine birds and vibrant underwater life. Natural erosion has formed a channel between the rocks, creating an ideal habitat for diverse sharks and rays. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.

FREE MORNING – PUERTO AYORA

Puerto Ayora - Enjoy a free morning to visit Playa Mann, La Loberia, or simply relax at your hotel. At 2:00 PM, board a public speedboat to Puerto Ayora, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

BARTOLOME, PLAZAS, FLOREANA, OR NORTH SEYMOUR

Metropolitan Touring - Embark on a full-day speedboat tour to one of the uninhabited islands: Bartolome, Plazas, Floreana, or North Seymour. Each trip includes snorkeling and hiking. The island visited will depend on availability and Galapagos National Park regulations. Preferences can be communicated to us.

SANTA CRUZ ISLAND HIGHLANDS – ISABELA ISLAND

Santa Cruz Island - In the morning, explore the Highlands of Santa Cruz to observe the Giant Galapagos Tortoises in their natural environment, surrounded by the endemic vegetation of the Galapagos.

Isabela Island - Around 1:30 PM, take a public speedboat to Isabela Island, a journey of about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beachfront hotel. You can explore the area or visit the Flamingo Lagoon, a 10-minute walk away. This lagoon is the largest coastal lagoon in the Galapagos and a key breeding site for many flamingos.

LOS TUNELES SNORKELING

Los Tuneles - After breakfast, your guide will lead you to Los Tuneles, renowned as one of the world’s premier snorkeling locations. The water here is shallow, calm, and crystal clear, forming a sea sanctuary. Unique geological formations, including arcs and tunnels created by lava flows, provide a habitat for numerous local Galapagos species. The site’s entrance is shallow, and waves can be strong, making access challenging. Enjoy a snack on board before returning to Puerto Villamil.

KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – FREE AFTERNOON

Playa Puerto Villamil - After breakfast, join your guide for a kayaking excursion in the bay of Puerto Villamil. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the beautiful beach or engage in another optional activity.

Galápagos Ecologic Airport - After breakfast, take a flight from Isabela airport to Baltra airport, a journey of about 45 minutes. Your tour concludes at Baltra Airport.

• Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
