After a 90-minute drive, the group will reach the entrance of Cotopaxi National Park, where they will register their visit before proceeding to the Limpiopungo Lagoon. The tour kicks off in the morning, with the tour guide picking up participants to embark on an exciting journey. After a 90-minute drive, the group will reach the entrance of Cotopaxi National Park, where they will register their visit before proceeding to the Limpiopungo Lagoon. If the weather is favorable, there will be a chance to view the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano, standing at 5,897 meters, and enjoy a hike around the lagoon. The adventure continues with a 3-hour drive to the city of Baños for a brief city tour. The next stop is the Agoyan Waterfall, where participants can take photos before crossing the tarabita at the Manto de la Novia waterfall on the Pastaza River, offering a fantastic opportunity to see the waterfall up close. The tour includes a visit to Baños’ traditional sweets factory, followed by a trip to the stunning Pailón del Diablo waterfall, the most renowned in Baños. The final activity is a visit to the Tree House, home to the famous “Swing at the End of the World,” before returning to Quito.

The perfect day - I spent a glorious day with the dream team: Jimmy, the alert, cautious, and responsible driver, and Andres, the super kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic tour guide. The day exceeded my expectations: I saw and experienced everything I had heard about Cotopaxi and Banos - and then some. I learned a lot and felt extremely well taken care of. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see these two famous places in Ecuador in just one day. And if you’re lucky enough, you’ll be driven by Jimmy and guided by Andres.

Ecuador with Andres and Jimmy!!!! - Andres and Jimmy were awesome guides!!!! First time to Ecuador and loved every minute. Andres and Jimmy made the most of our day and introduced us to many local places. Just what we were looking for!

More Than a Tour—An Unforgettable Experience - Thanks to Andrés and Our Driver - We had an exceptional experience! Andrés was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. He made the tour informative and enjoyable, sharing fascinating insights that made the experience truly unforgettable. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had made a new friend! He even went out of his way to help me with shopping, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated.
Our driver was also excellent—experienced, professional, and focused on our safety throughout the journey. We felt completely at ease and were able to relax and enjoy every moment. Together, Andrés and our driver made a fantastic team. I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing Day Trip - Amazing tour, Andres the guide was very knowleadgeable and made sure I was fine. Also Jimmy the driver did a great job, driving safely and was very attentive (e.g. opened the windows so I could take pictures and spotted wildlife). They really want you to enjoy the tour and give you the best experience! Best tour I did in 2 months in south america, highly recommend!

A highly recommended experience. It offers the flexibility and personal attention of the guide - Unforgettable private day at Cotopaxi - Baños with Ayrton.
The private transfer from Quito was punctual and comfortable. The day was really nice, flexible and many experiences.
It was especially nice that we could enjoy nature and the delicious ice cream away from the large groups.

What a Day! - What a day I spent with Andres as my tour guide and Santiago as my trusted driver from Quito to Cotopaxi , Banos and back to Quito. We had a glorious, unobstructed view of the peak and could even see the base camp in the distance. Andres was able to name all the volcanoes and explained the pairing of the male/ female . We then went to the nearby lagoon and saw aquatic birds and native plants. Andres knew so many different plant based natural treatments, especially for altitude sickness. We took the cable car over the Rio Blanco. The Devil’s Cauldron was another highlight! We continued our journey and had lunch at a beautiful clifftop restaurant where the hospitality and views were unmatched. We went to “The End of the World” which was really much more than the swing … I had a very helpful employee who made sure I went way higher than I would have gone on my own power and it definitely brought out my inner child. The area is beautifully landscaped and worth the visit. I learned a lot about Ecuador , its history, its flora and fauna and Andres was the perfect guide. He answered my many questions and always checked to make sure if I needed anything . Highly recommended!! It was the perfect day- from the weather , the sights, the food and my tour and guides- A+!

An unforgettable experience in Cotopaxi and Baños! - This tour was simply spectacular. From the start, the organization was impeccable: punctuality, a friendly and knowledgeable guide, and a super safe environment throughout the tour.
In Cotopaxi, we visited Laguna de Limpiopungo, a truly beautiful place. Although we couldn't see the volcano because of the fog, the landscape around the lagoon was breathtaking: pure nature, tranquility, and views that were worth every minute of the trip. The guide shared some very interesting facts that made the hike even more special.
Then we continued on to Baños, where we had an adventure-filled experience with unique landscapes. The waterfalls, the Pailón del Diablo, and the viewpoints were the best part of the day. There was time for photos, local recommendations, and enjoying ourselves at our own pace.
I recommend it 100% to anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Ecuador in a single day. I was delighted!
