I would have preferred a more proactive overview about the whaleswhales, and what we were about to see. There was too much reliance on questions and answers.

First, the boat looked very safe, and the captain went over all the safety features and rules before we left. I also liked how we had options of staying inside or going outside or upstairs. Second, the weather was perfect and the water was flat. Third, the naturalist on board was very friendly and informative. I loved that the captain went farther to find the whales, and that he gave us at least an extra hour more than expected to enjoy them. I've been on previous whale-watching rides from Orcas, and from other places, and usually, the boat is all open, the water is choppy, and the weather is windy, wet, and cold. This, however, was the best I've ever experienced!--and the whales did lots of spouting, fluking, and breaching, so it was very entertaining.

Loved the whale watching, but Naturalist, in the front of the boat, was rude and argumentative with the ship Captain.
