*At 1 am, a skilled guide will accompany you to the summit of the Kawah Ijen volcano. The ascent takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, with one hour being quite challenging. Following this, you will descend into the volcano’s crater to witness the natural wonder of blue flames and experience the sunrise over the world’s largest acid lake—an unforgettable experience. Equipped with a respirator to shield you from sulfuric vapors, you will find yourself at the heart of the crater, offering a truly unique sensation!
Inside the crater, which also serves as a “Sulfur mine,” you will observe the remarkable bravery of the workers who extract sulfur for use in pharmacology and cosmetology. This is a testament to the incredible courage of these men (miners and carriers).
