Experience the majestic Marble Mountains and My Son temples with Andy's tour - Booking the Marble Mountains and My Son holy land tour with Andy was a fantastic decision. We booked a three-day private tour of Hoi An including My Son, Marble Mountains and Hue. We got the best service at a competitive price (compared to other group tours) A huge shout out to our wonderful guide, Ms. Dan and our driver Mr. Chi for their excellent service. Our day started early and we first drove to the majestic Marble Mountains. First we saw how artisans sculpt marble into beautiful figurines and jewelry. Following this, we climbed up one of the mountains and explored the amazing caves with statues of The Buddha and our very own Mahadev's linga. Ms. Dan explained the influence of the Champa dynasty and other rulers on the marble mountains. Next, we had a tasty noodle lunch and visited the My Son holy Hindu temple ruins. Despite being hit during the war, it's fascinating to see some structures of the temple stand tall proudly to this day. Ms. Dan took us on a journey through history when the 72 temples were still in tact and how everything changed with time. The red structures of My Son glowed under the sunset, and it was the perfect ending to our long but rewarding day. I highly recommend Andy's tour of the Marble Mountains and My Son temples if you wish to experience the history and culture of these places.

Wonderful excursion (even on the eve of a typhoon!) - We had booked this tour without knowing that it would in fact be on the eve of Hoi An / Da Nang being pounded by an incoming typhoon that night ..... so, while it was a dizzly / rainy day, it was still amazing. Our guide was an expert on the history, as well as being very personable and professional. Due to the weather and increasing winds, Marble Mnt was already closed when we got there ..... can't help Mother Nature - but we did manage to go to a large marble showroom - wow! As we didn't get to see Marble Mnt, we detoured to the Dragon Bridge and waterfront to observe the preparations reading for the typhoon. Lock-down was from 4.30pm

My Son and Marble Mountain cultural tour - It was great to be picked up at our hotel for the tour and communication prior to the tour was appreciated. Our guide Mr Ty was very knowledgeable throughout the day about both My Son and Marble Mountain. We loved the stop at an authentic noodle restaurant too. My Ty was very patient as it was a private tour and he took the best photos. We would highly recommend this tour.

Incredible day - We had a full day with our guide, Mr. Vinh at My Son, the Marble Mountains, and the Linh Ung Pagoda. I booked Andy tours as a private tour excursion from our cruise after reading other reviews and all of the pre-tour communication was great. We did have a bit of trouble finding our guide outside the port gate so I had to pay ship's internet to hook up with Andy and make the connection, but once that was done it was all uphill. We started at My Son and enjoyed a leisurely walk through the ruins while Mr. Vinh explained the history in great detail. He pointed out how war had ruined some of the sights and made sure all our questions were answered. We then stopped for lunch at a local noodle house which was delicious. After lunch we drove back to Da Nang (there was a fair amount of driving during the day-so interesting to see the villages and the people celebrating the New Year) to visit the Marble Mountains. Mr. Vinh was very thorough in taking us through the grottoes in the mountains which included quite a bit of stair climbing and descent even though we took the elevator to the top. The Buddhas inside the mountain were amazing and although I sometimes struggled to keep up, I am so glad Mr. Vinh kept us going. Then we drove along the shore as Mr. Vinh pointed out some of the war sites, particularly the location of the air base, until we arrived at the Linh Ung Pagoda which is stunningly beautiful. All in all, once we got hooked up, the day was amazing. We learned so much history and culture, saw so many beautiful and historic things, and ate such good food. The tour included all the water we needed and more information than I can remember! Andy organized the tour to see exactly the sites I requested and even paying a bonus for the New Year, the price for a private tour was reasonable. Now that I know how to find the guide, I would definitely book with Andy again.

Private Day Tour to Mai Son and Marble Mountain - We booked a private tour with Andy Tran from our cruise stop in Da Nang. We agreed to meet outside the port and sure enough Mr Ken was waiting with the board to greet us. From that point on, the whole trip experience was superb, both in the knowledge Ken passed on and the comfortable driving experience with Mr Dong. In addition, Ken the tour guide shared his Vietnam life experiences which were extremely interesting. This was by far the best tour of our cruise. Note that there was a lot of walking involved and steps to climb so good walking shoes recommended.
