The remnants of the ancient Cham Capital from the 4th century, Vietnam’s most captivating Cham site, have recently been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The Cham people regarded this area, nestled in the shadow of Cat’s Tooth Peak, as the realm of the gods, serving as the cultural and intellectual hub of their civilization. They resided here continuously from the late fourth century A.D. until the 13th century. Excavations have uncovered kings’ tombs dating back to the fourth century.
