My Son Sanctuary - My Son Sanctuary is a historic religious site situated approximately 40 kilometers southwest of Hoi An. Constructed between the 4th and 13th centuries by the Champa Kingdom, My Son served as a spiritual and political hub dedicated to Hindu deities, particularly Shiva, known as Bhadresvara in Cham culture. The temples were crafted using red bricks and sandstone, adorned with intricate carvings of deities, dancers, and mythical creatures that showcase both Cham artistry and Indian influence.
