Beautiful tour - We really enjoyed the My Son Early Morning tour. Our tour guide Amy was fantastic and made the experience quite fun, adding a cute humorous twist to the explanations of the historical site and the local region. The structure of the tour was great and we got to see the performance and tour the site when it wasn’t too busy.

Just the best, loveliest early morning trip with Tony our tour guide - Just the most amazing early morning trip with Tony our tour guide to My Son. Picked up at 4:45 from our A Bang hotel and a a small group of seven of us ventured off to the stunning site. Lovely air conditioned bus, with super informative Tony educating us throughout the morning trip. Breakfast was chicken noodles and veggie for my wife, it was lovely and served with lemon tea and watermelon juice. After My Son we were taken to a small family homestead we taught how to make rice paper and that into noodles. Just fab. Finished with a boat trip back to Hoi A town where we took our bus back to the hotel. Overall and terrific day, thanks so much Tony!!

Fabulous early morning tour of incredible My Son - Tony was a great guide - passionate and knowledgeable about My Son He looked after our group of eight very well, ensuring everyone was happy and all their questions were answered. Highly recommended We went with the 5am option to avoid heat and crowds and we’re very happy we’d done so

Amazing - Amazing experience, attending early was the best decision. Not just because of the heat but there was few other visitors too. Our glide was brilliant very informative and English was amazing.

Great experience from start to finish - Great experience, our guide (sadly I can't remember her name) was excellent. Getting there early meant we avoided the crowds and had the site pretty much to ourselves. Visiting a local family (I think it was the guides family) was a real bonus, having a go at making rice paper, seeing how they grow different crops and stay largely self sufficient was really impressive. The boat ride back let you see the town from a different perspective. Highly recommend.

Not worth it at all - Our tour guide did not speak great English and was not super knowledgeable about all the history or context. The food was absolutely horrible and there was no choice as we ate at the My Son Tourist Restaurant. The rice paper making was pretty cool, but the boat trip wasn’t really needed. TLDR; Don’t recommend, could have been done in 3 hours not 6. Would recommend just getting a Grab or private driver to bring you there instead.
