• My Son Sanctuary - From the 4th to the 13th centuries, a distinctive culture flourished along the coast of what is now Vietnam, drawing its spiritual roots from Indian Hinduism. This is vividly demonstrated by the remnants of a series of remarkable tower temples at a striking site that served as the religious and political hub of the Champa Kingdom for much of its history.

My Son Sanctuary originates from the 4th to the 13th centuries CE. The site is situated in the mountainous border area of Duy Xuyen District in Quang Nam Province, central Vietnam. It lies within an elevated geological basin encircled by a mountain range, which forms the watershed for the sacred Thu Bon River. The Thu Bon River begins here, flowing past the monuments, out of the basin, through the historic core of the Champa Kingdom, and into the South China Sea near the ancient port city of Hoi An. This location provides strategic importance due to its defensibility.

My Son, was built from the 4th to the 13th century. So far the technique in building the ancient temple-towers of Champa people remains controversial. The brick were smoothed and laid closely and securely without mortar. In December 1999, My Son was recognized a World Heritage site by UNESCO. You will feel immersed in nature while taking pictures before we head onto Cham towers of the Champa people built in the 11th century.
