• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri fortress: a tale in stone. On the shores of Aragvi, visitors will encounter Georgia’s only fortress preserved in its original state. Exploring the Ananuri defense complex, one can imagine life in the Middle Ages and discover the rich history of the Aragva eristavi (leaders of the people). Special attention will be given to the 17th-century Assumption Church, adorned with intriguing bas-reliefs, each with its own hidden significance.
• Kvemo Mleta - Discover the meeting point of the White and Black Aragvi rivers, stunning vistas at the Arch of Friendship, and a unique mineral spring that resembles a golden river.
• Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Friendship Arch, perched on the mountain’s edge near Gudauri. This is the highest point of the pass and an ideal spot to embrace the mountains eternally!
• Juta - The final stop is the village of Juta, where the hiking trail begins. It is one of the highest locations at 2200 meters above sea level. The six-kilometer route leads past the Chaukhi ridge, offering views of the Chaukhi Lake mountain massif and the Caucasus ridges.

Our journey will take us past the Zhinvali Reservoir and the Ananuri Fortress town. We will halt at the junction of the Black and White Aragvi rivers, and pay a visit to the Friendship Arch. The highlight of the trip is the village of Juta, situated at a lofty 2200 meters above sea level. Here, one can embark on a twelve kilometre round trip walk. Close by, lies the Chaukhi ridge, an expanse from where the mountain range of Chaukhi lake, set on the visible hill of the Caucasus ridge, can be witnessed, next to the river Bakurkhevi, all set within alpine surroundings.
