The Zhinvali Hydroelectric Power Plant features two turbines, each with a nominal capacity of 65 MW, totaling a capacity of 130 MW. The reservoir is uniquely V-shaped, and its water boasts a distinctive color, offering breathtaking views.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri is a castle complex situated on the Aragvi River in Georgia, approximately 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Tbilisi. It was governed by a feudal dynasty from the 13th century and has been the site of numerous battles. The complex includes two churches among other structures. The older Church of the Virgin, adjacent to a tall square tower, contains the graves of some Dukes of Aragvi. Dating back to the first half of the 17th century, it was constructed from brick. The larger Church of the Mother of God (Ghvtismshobeli), built in 1689 for the son of Duke Bardzem, is a central dome-style structure with richly adorned façades, featuring a carved north entrance and a carved grapevine cross on the south façade. It also houses remnants of several frescoes, most of which were destroyed by fire in the 18th century.
• Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - This location offers stunning views of the mountains and valley. The wall murals are exceptionally beautiful. The monument was erected in 1983 to commemorate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the enduring friendship between Georgia and Soviet Russia. Nearby, visitors can enjoy activities such as ballooning and paragliding.
• Gergeti Trinity Church - Gergeti Trinity Church is the popular name for the Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti in Georgia. It is located on the right bank of the river Chkheri (a left tributary of the river Terek), at an elevation of 2170 meters (7120 feet), beneath Mount Kazbegi. The church was constructed in the 14th century. The price for a 4WD vehicle is not included.
