Rodoni Castle - Situated on the Adriatic Sea’s coast in western Albania, the Cape of Rodon is the largest cape in the country. To the north, the Ishmi River flows. Begin your hike towards Rodoni Castle, where you can explore the Castle of Scanderbeg, constructed by him between 1451 and 1452. This fortress was utilized by Scanderbeg’s army to oversee the Adriatic Sea and defend against Venetian invasions. The castle’s walls stood 10-12 meters high and 3-6 meters wide.
St. Anthony Church - Visit the Church of St. Anthony, built in the 14th-15th centuries, which remains accessible today. It is one of the four monasteries that existed before the castle’s construction. The church showcases Roman-Gothic architecture, evident in its pointed arches.
Kruja
Kruja Castle - Kruja Castle in Albania was the focal point of resistance against the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century, led by the national hero George Skanderberg.
Museumi Gjergj Kastrioti (Skenderbeu) - The National Museum “George Castrioti Skanderbeg” (Albanian: Muzeu Kombëtar “Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu”), also referred to as the Skanderbeg Museum or the Kruja Museum, is located in Krujë and ranks among Albania’s most significant and frequented museums. Established in the late 1970s and inaugurated on November 1, 1982, its architecture, designed by Pirro Vaso and Pranvera Hoxha, resembles a northern Albanian tower memorial. The museum honors the Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbej.
Old Bazaar (Pazari i Vjeter) - Dating back to the 17th century, Kruja’s Old Bazaar, known locally as Derexhiku, was constructed around 400 years ago with approximately 200 shops stretching from near Kruja City Hall to the castle’s entrance gates. Initially, shops began near the castle entrance and gradually expanded towards the town center. The shops line both sides of the street, forming covered storefronts with sloping roofs that create an arcade. Traditional crafts and trades include leatherworking, silk, kitchen utensils, furniture, tailoring, pottery, carpentry, cafes, wood carving, butchery, barbering, shoemaking, blacksmithing, and wool working. Today, the Old Bazaar offers traditional artisan items and antiques from Kruja and its surroundings.
Ethnographic Museum of Kruja - Inaugurated on November 20, 1989, the National Ethnographic Museum in Kruja is housed in a characteristic urban building from 1764, recognized as a first-class cultural monument. With 15-16 rooms, the museum provides a comprehensive view of Kruja’s traditional crafts.
Berat
Berat Castle - The tour departs at 8:30 am from Adriatik Hotel, taking approximately 2 hours to reach Berat city. Upon arrival, visit Berat Castle, dating back to the 4th century BC, and learn about Berat’s history. The castle, one of the largest inhabited fortresses, features numerous Byzantine churches and some mosques from the Ottoman era, which began in 1417.
National Iconographic Museum Onufri - Within the castle, visit the Onufri Museum, located inside the Saint Mary Cathedral, renovated in the 18th century. Admire the beautifully carved iconostasis and the icons by the renowned Albanian painter Onufri.
Gorica Bridge - Next, explore the old quarters of Mangalem and Gorica, connected by the Gorica Bridge over the Osumi River. Originally wooden, the bridge was rebuilt with stones in 1780 under Ahmet Kurt Pasha’s rule and underwent complete reconstruction between 1920-1930.
The King Mosque - Also known as the Sultan’s Mosque or Sultan Bayezid Mosque, this mosque is a Cultural Monument of Albania, constructed in the 15th century by Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II.
Cobo Winery - On the return journey to the hotel, stop at the charming Çobo Winery for a taste of Albanian wine. The tour includes an overview of the winemaking process and detailed explanations of the family’s history and wine origins. (Optional)

Independence Monument - The Independence Monument in Vlorë, Albania, commemorates the Albanian Declaration of Independence and was crafted by Albanian sculptors Muntaz Dhrami and Kristaq Rama. It is situated in Flag’s Plaza, near the building where the first Albanian government operated in 1913.
Muradie Mosque - The Muradie Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Muradies), a Cultural Monument of Albania in Vlorë, was originally a Byzantine Church. Its Byzantine architectural features include a dome with a polygonal base, arched windows, classical triangular forms atop the side walls, and distinctive brickwork typical of Byzantine and Renaissance church buildings.
