• Vila e Zogut - The journey begins in Tirana, heading towards Durrës, a stunning coastal city in Albania known for its rich history and lively atmosphere. After approximately an hour’s drive, the exploration starts with a visit to the Royal Villa of King Zog. Situated on a hill with a breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea, this royal residence provides insight into King Zog’s reign and the villa’s history. Although abandoned after the events of 1997, it remains a symbol of Albania’s regal heritage.
• Venetian Tower of Durrës - Walking down, visitors can explore one of the city’s ancient towers, a restored structure that acts as a panoramic balcony offering a spectacular 360° view of Durrës and the sea. This visit is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the fortifications that once safeguarded this strategic port city.
• Durres Amphitheatre - The next stop is the Durrës Amphitheater, a significant ancient monument in Albania. It ranks as the third-largest amphitheater after those in Rome and Capua, showcasing the Roman era’s influence in this city. Although only a portion has been excavated, visitors can explore the accessible section and envision the grand spectacles that once occurred here.
• Durres - *SUMMER OPTION: From JUNE to SEPTEMBER* Following the historical highlights of Durrës, the tour returns to the bus for a 30-minute drive to enjoy the rest of the day at Durrës beach. During this period, the beach is fully open with bars, restaurants, and ample swimming spots. FREE TIME/LUNCH/SWIM: Guests have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the sun, sea view, and fresh seafood. The beach offers a refreshing swimming opportunity during the summer months. *OFF SEASON OPTION: OCTOBER to MAY * The tour continues with a walk along the Vollga Promenade, a vibrant area lined with bars and restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes. At the boulevard’s end, Viewpoint Fenix offers a perfect spot to relax and admire the stunning Adriatic scenery. FREE TIME/LUNCH: Guests have 2 hours of free time to enjoy the sun, sea view, and fresh seafood. After a day filled with history, culture, and seaside relaxation, the tour returns to Tirana.

  PICK UP: If the hotel pick-up option is selected, please be aware that in some cases, guests may be kindly asked to walk a short distance (1–5 minutes) to a nearby main street. This is usually because some hotels are located on narrow streets where buses cannot easily access.
