TIRANA - DURRES - KRUJA (80 KM)
Durres - Departing from Tirana, the journey continues to Durres, one of Albania’s most ancient cities, situated on a small peninsula along the Adriatic coast. Visitors can explore the Roman Amphitheater, constructed in the 2nd century B.C., the sixth-century Fortress, Roman Thermal Baths, and the Archaeological Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of artifacts unearthed in Durres.
Fushe Kruje - The trip proceeds to the historic city of Kruja, with a stop in Fushe-Kruja. In 2007, George W. Bush visited Albania, delivering a historic speech and enjoying coffee at a local bar, which was subsequently renamed the George Bush Coffee Shop.
Kruje - The journey continues to Kruja, a 15th-century symbol of resistance against the Turks, led by Scanderbeg, who successfully repelled the Turks with a small army. Visitors will explore the Fortress of Scanderbeg, the Old Bazaar of Kruja, and the Skanderbeg Museum. Overnight stay in Kruja.
