Wonderful cruise tour - Chris was an absolutely fantastic guide - VERY knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this tour for those coming in on a cruise ship as Chris met us right in the cruise terminal and had us back in plenty of time

A great guide makes all the difference! - Despite the rainy weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the castle, the shore, and the steepest street in the world. Chris’s knowledgeable commentary and willingness to answer questions was such a nice change from a tour we had the day before. The 8-passenger vehicle was comfortable and provided great views of some amazing scenery. My husband and I highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous tour! - Chris is a fabulous tour guide! He knew an incredible amount about the local history and shared in a way that was both informative yet also fun. We had ample time at each stop and never felt rushed. I felt that his tour was very comprehensive and included all of the must see destinations in Dunedin, which we never would have seen if we had attempted to explore this town on our own. I highly recommend this tour for anyone, but especially for those coming to Dunedin by cruise ship with only one day in port. It's the perfect way to spend your day. :)

Fabulous castle tour with Chris - Our tour guide, Chris, was excellent and very informative. He took us to the rail station for a nice visit of that beautiful location, then to the castle. He gave us a personal tour and explained each room and much of the backstory and history of the castle. Our group was smaller than most groups at the castle, and Chris knew how to make sure we had each room to ourselves for the appropriate amount of time, even though the castle was very busy. If we had been on our own, we would have missed so much or been crowded out. He also gave us time to walk the grounds and shop and eat before leaving. He made a stop on the way back at a beautiful lookout on the coast. It was an excellent day!

Best tour ever! - Chris was the most amazing tour guide we have ever had anywhere. He was super informative about history, culture and general facts. Our private tour at Lamar Castle was more than we expected. This tour is the best you could ever take and recommend to everyone!

A Cruise port day in Dunedin! - I would highly recommend this tour out of Port Chalmers. We were on a cruise ship, and Chris worked perfectly with our time in port. We saw a lot in the allocated time, and nothing was rushed. Chris was very knowledgeable, and being only 8 people on the tour, everything was managed very well.
