Please be aware that this tour does not include pick-up from Port Chalmers and is therefore not suitable for cruise ship passengers. The tour begins at Dunedin City Centre, just outside the Dunedin Visitor Centre. On some occasions, pick-up from Port Chalmers may be available for an additional fee—please inquire for more information.

Ideal for a quick intro to Dunedin - I felt a bit bad because I booked this tour last minute, and if I hadn't, Asta could have had a lie-in! However, it meant I had a solo private tour, and it was the perfect way to get a quick whizz round the highlights of Dunedin, when I only had a day there. Asta was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of good background to all the places we passed, as well as the stops. I asked one question she didn't know the answer to, and she took a note to look it up for her next tour. The van was comfortable, it was a great trip - no complaints!

Amazing Dunedin - Sorry we haven’t visited Dunedin before now. Have learned so much from this trip. Looks like we’ll be back sometime.

The Best of the City - From the ease of booking the experience and updates from my Guide Asta a wealth of knowledge the tour was informative great information and saw the gems of the city great coverage and I would highly recommend Asta safe driver kind and considerate !

Not to be missed - My tour guide Asta was lovely and so friendly. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Dunedin, the landmarks and the botanical gardens.
As I was the only person on the tour she even dropped me off at my hotel.

Our party of 3 was the... - Our party of 3 was the only ones on the tour. They picked us up from cruise terminal. Arlene was wonderful and customized the tour for us since we had a trike tour after. She then picked us up after the trike tour and drove us back to the ship. Highly recommend Arlene!

Tour Guide Made Dunedin Special - After getting off the ship, you walk directly into the terminal bldg where all the tour companies are located. "Teresa" had a sign/logo/tour company name with our names on it, so we connected right away. The van was big enough to fit all 12? of us and to switch seats if we wanted to. "Teresa" was funny, educational, informative and personal who was aware of unique concerns (difficulty in walking, in my case). She made Dunedin memorable.

An interesting tour of... - An interesting tour of some of Dunedin’s key sights. Unfortunately the weather was against us but it was a comfortable minibus and gave us a good introduction to the city

Poor experience .. worse response for tour operator. - The driver was nice and we fid stop at a number of key spots BUT we chose this tour based on being picked up at the cruise port and the itinerary .. we drove past the cemetery and the first church but did not stop and go in as outlined in the itinerary.
That even I reached out to this tour operator and they got back to me saying we did stop at the church.. when I confirmed that we did not .. their reply was "The church has been closed to public since pandemic!" But yet they advertised it as a stop.
Then they had the gall to say "Our city tour is priced to depart and finish at the Octagon, and as a gesture of goodwill, we offered you a complimentary transfer from the port on this occasion." .. there was at 13 people in our group .. they advertised the tour as a cruise port pickup .. and the helpers at the port were well aware of the company as far as coming into the port.
Then they have the nerve to say "However, due to some customers taking advantage of our kindness, we regret to inform you that we will no longer be offering complimentary pickups from the port, nor will we continue offering our city highlights tour to cruise ship passengers." .. how did anyone take advantage of them .. we were just asking for what was described in the itinerary.
Ironically enough .. they have now updated their itinerary descriptions to reflect my concerns.
We had requested a partial refund but they denied the request.
Poor customer service.

Rushed and itinerary cut short. - Rushed and cut short due to multiple tours combined at short notice. No botanic gardens visit and would have been better to have just gone in on the bus. Very poor value for money.
