Baga Gazariin Chuluu
Baga Gazariin Chuluu - This remarkable granite formation is nestled within a plain, situated 37 km from Delgertsogt Sum in the Dundgovi province, and 250 km (155.34 miles) south of Ulaanbaatar. The journey from Ulaanbaatar takes approximately 4 hours on well-maintained roads to Mandalgobi, followed by a 2-hour drive on rougher terrain. The name Baga Gazriin Chuluu translates to “stone of the little place.” At an elevation of 1,750 meters (1.09 miles), visitors can find springs, ancient tombs, burials, cave paintings, and various statues and monuments.
The highest point of Baga Gazriin Chuluu is Takhilgiin Khavtsal (Canyon of Offering), reaching 1,768 meters above sea level. The area is home to over 20 types of medicinal herbs, such as burnet, and a variety of rare animals including marmots, ibex, gazelles, and mountain sheep.

Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) - Also known as the Mini Grand Canyon, Tsagaan Suvarga was once a seabed, featuring a sedimentary structure formed over millions of years in Mongolia’s landscape.
Explore the incredible Tsagaan Suvarga, located in the Dundgovi (Middlegobi) province of southern Mongolia. It stands over 60 meters tall at its highest point and stretches an impressive 400 meters in length. Standing atop the canyon can transport you back to a time before humanity existed.
From afar, Tsagaan Suvarga resembles the ruins of a city or building. It has been identified as an ancient dinosaur habitat and home to giant creatures. The valley is rich in Gobi plants, including sagebrush and leek, alongside hills, sedges, straw, and buckwheat. This stunning attraction has become a top destination in Mongolia for both domestic and international tourists in recent years.
Yolyn Am, Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, Gobi Museum of Natural History of Dalanzadgad City
Yolyn Am - Situated in the Züün Saikhan mountains, 56 kilometers from Dalanzadgad city in the Omnogovi province, Yol Valley is a deep and narrow gorge within the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain. Initially established to protect the region’s birdlife, it is now renowned for its dramatic and unique scenery. Visitors can discover permanent glaciers, endemic plants, and rare animals such as the Siberian ibex, argali, and bearded vultures. Snow leopards and other predators also inhabit the Yol Valley area.
The valley is elevated 2,800 meters above sea level and spans an area of 64 square kilometers. Yol Valley is 8 kilometers long and hosts more than 620 species of endemic Central Asian plants. The park is also home to numerous animals, including Mongolian gazelles, Siberian ibex, mouflons, argalis, wild goats, and the elusive snow leopard. In total, 52 mammal species are recorded in this area, with eight being protected species.
