We provide several custom tour options to ensure your experience in Oregon wine country takes you to the best wineries while educating you on the history and culture of Willamette Valley.
You’ll be exposed to the best wines, amazing views, and beautiful stories. We specialize in customizing our trips so you visit only the best boutique wineries that represent the heart of Willamette Valley.
Tours cover three wineries at a nice pace or four wineries at a quick pace (to be determined based on your preferences in discussion once booked).
Lunch and tasting fees are not included.

Safe, luxurious and memorable wine tour - I highly recommend Wine History Tours. They transformed our wine tasting day into a safe, fun and truly memorable experience. Our driver Sara, picked us up and guided us through some of the best wineries in the willamette valley before returning us home safely. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the region and its wines, and her friendly, personable nature made the day even more enjoyable.
Wine History Tours arranged visits to two exceptional wineries, offered fantastic food recommendations and provided a luxury vehicle with every amenity we could have hoped for. We were celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond, arriving with flowers and adding thoughtful touches that made the occasion feel extra special all while ensuring we were safe between each location and home.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Wine tasting birthday celebration - What a wonderful day! Wine tasting with friends for a birthday celebration. Sarah was our guide. She was absolutely amazing. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the wines, scenery and friendship without the worry of driving. Highly recommend this company for any wine touring. You won’t be disappointed

Great planners and guides during our 2 days of wine tasting - We had 2 days in Willamette valley. Ken and Sara were both amazing guides and helped make it a fun filled couple of days. Great tips and assistance with building the itinerary and their connections at the wineries helped amplify the experience. I highly recommend them.

Girls Trip - This is our second time with Wine History Tours. Sara was phenomenal. Her knowledge of the area and the wine is outstanding. She's extremely personable. I would highly recommend her and their service. It was good to see Ken at the end of your tour. We will be back!

Wonderful experience… - We have the most awesome experience touring with Sara Weibel of Wine History Tours. She was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. She has ties with all of the major wineries. You can tell from her interactions with the winery staffs that she is well respected in the industry. She knew where to take us for lunch . She knew how to keep us on schedule. We had the best time hanging out with her all day. I highly recommended Wine History Tours and ask for Sara!

- Our tour with Ken was excellent. The wineries that he picked were outstanding. His knowledge of the area and local wineries is superb and really provides a really unique insight into the Willamette Valley and the people making the wines. In addition, his knowledge of the history of wine and its influence on history, both world and US, was fascinating. I would highly recommend Wine History Tours.

Excellent Tour, Excellent Guide, Amazing Experience - This was by far the best tour my husband and I have ever taken. Ken was all around an excellent guide and he made the trip spectacular. He arranged 3 different wine tastings for us at some of the best wineries in the area and planned a stop at a local place for sandwiches which was outstanding.
He was very responsive when I messaged him with questions and even suggested a few additional wineries to try on our own as well as a dinner spot where we had the most amazing Italian food ever!
We will recommend this tour to all of our friends and family!

Best Wine Tour in the Willamette Valley! - What a wonderful 2 days we spent with Ken. He is an amazing guide because he is so interesting, knowledgeable and entertaining. Ken is a local, so he knows the region, vineyards and its people. Willamette Valley- the best way to enjoy! - Wow! What an incredible day spent on the Wine History Tour in Willamette Valley. From the moment we set off, picked up at our AirBnB, we were intrigued by Ken's wealth of knowledge and his genuine enthusiasm for the deep roots of wine in our human story, a shared interest. The Willamette Valley itself is gorgeous, and the views were truly breathtaking. Traveling in a comfortable Volvo SUV made the journey seamless and relaxing. And the weather? Absolutely perfect! This tour isn't just about tasting wine; it's about understanding its significance, all while surrounded by stunning beauty. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience!
