Setting Sail on the Adriatic

After days of exploring the cobblestone streets and ancient walls of Dubrovnik, my wife and I were ready for a change of pace. Our final stop was Šipan, an island steeped in history. We strolled along the old fisherman’s port and marveled at the castle built to defend against pirates in the 15th century. The island’s charm was undeniable, and it felt like stepping back in time to a “Mediterranean as it used to be.”

As the day drew to a close, we found ourselves at a charming seaside café, cold beers in hand, watching the waves roll in. It was the ultimate moment of relaxation, with the sun shining and the Croatian coast sparkling around us. The camaraderie with our fellow travelers added to the fun, making it a day to remember.

Lunch on board was delicious, with options to suit every palate. I opted for the grilled hake, which was perfectly cooked and complemented the laid-back vibe of the day. The open bar was a nice touch, offering a selection of beverages to enjoy as we sailed.
