Medjugorje, Bosnia - Such a spiritual place - the Blessed Mother of Jesus, continues to make apparitions here. Everything you see is a blessing. Stayed at the Hotel Grace which is a very short distance from St. James Church in the center of town. Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain are a must for your visit here. These are arduous climbs (not for the faint of heart), but sooo rewarding!

Great value for money, fun, friendly atmosphere - I went on a Supertours tour yesterday (October 2024) from Dubrovnik to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The tour was a brilliant experience, good fun, informative and great value for money. Charlie was an excellent guide and had everyone laughing throughout creating a great atmosphere in the coach. I feel like he did a good job of asserting the importance of being back at the coach on time each leg of the journey so as to optimise our travel itinerary whilst still maintaining a friendly tone. There was multiple technical issues with the microphone but he improvised well in entertaining and relaying information throughout the bus. Branko the driver also did a great job in efficiently driving us throughout. A lot of the reviews I've seen talk about not having enough time in each stop, but when travelling between countries, there are many factors that can delay things when it comes to Passport control and customs. If it takes a long time, there's not much the tour staff can do apart from stress the importance of everyone getting back to the coach by the time that their guide tells them to mitigate some of the potentially wasted time. As for the stops, Kravica waterfalls were stunningly beautiful, although if you're going swimming there I'd recommend taking water shoes, some of those rocks hurt under barefoot. Mostar was a lovely city with a gorgeous market and fantastic restaurant called Kaldrma which had gorgeous food. Pocitelj was also very interesting and we had some great photo opportunities throughout the journey where Branko stopped the bus and let us out to take pictures. If you want a fun, enjoyable day out from Dubrovnik I'd highly recommend Supertours - I already have their tour to Montenegro booked as well!

Benefit of the doubt! - Four of us booked SuperTours Private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to our hotel at Babin Kuk. We were told that we would be met by our driver when we arrived but there was nobody there to meet us. We searched the airport inside and out but could not find the driver. Then we asked at the information but were told that they were no good and that we shouldn't rely on them and get a taxi instead. Having tried unsuccessfully to ring the numbers given I then spoke to another friendly taxi driver who kindly rang the company for me. Coincidentally, as he put the phone down our driver arrived. He was probably 15 minutes late but was full of apologies and told us that the traffic was bad. 24 hours before our transfer back from the hotel to the airport, we booked our transport and received a confirmation by email. The next morning the driver arrived promptly and exactly on the time that we had booked. We therefore give the company the benefit of the doubt for the first journey!

Finger weg! - After contacting us, no at Expedia is wrong, by the way, and confirming the address we waited for the transfer on time! The secondary roads were also checked. No driver far and wide! In order not to miss the flight from Split taxi booked at your own expense! The Enterprise refuses to cover the costs. Bad Service!
